Scorpion Women's EXO-500 Mariposa Helmet
Love the helmet
Love my helmet, bought it for the drop down visor, and it's great. I have a very small head but xs fit ok, put my speakers in the ear slots and my Bluetooth on and at 70mph sounds great, still is a little noisy without nothing playing. Love the look of the helmet too

For Entry Level
I bought this helmet 2.5 years back when first learning to ride my ninja 250 and was on a tight budget. Since then, the helmet has seen a Buell Firebolt and now my 2012 R1. It has held up through the years, but I've never been down, so I can't review it's protection. This is an excellent entry / commuter helmet, and its pros and cons directly dictate that.
The drop-down sunshade is an excellent feature, I believe it should be installed on every commuter helmet. It saved me on those sunset commutes on the highway where my cornea's would've been fried otherwise. Cheek pump is a cool feature for those in between size guys, but I never used it. The helmet doesn't weight a lot, it's about average and its field of view is spectacular so I feel very confident riding on congested roads and night time. Never had an issue with visor fogging.
The visor is a little finicky putting back on after taking off. The "quick release" turn-style lock is tough to use, and once you think everything is locked in place, the shield pops off. Even the sales rep at my local shop had trouble putting on a smoked visor I bought. The helmet has a rather large shell size, and tends to "buffet" a lot in the wind, especially speeds >75 mph. In the tuck position, the helmet gains lift and wants to pull away from the tank and expose you to the wind. It also picked up a pretty annoying whistle coming from the top right vent at around 30 mph which, no matter what position the vent was in, would fade in and out randomly. At 100 mph the whistle is loud and defined, and pretty tough to ignore. May be a stuck piece of debris, who knows. Wind noise itself again gets loud the second you jump on the highway. It is NOT a race helmet! I didn't buy it under the impression it was, i just want to clarify for those wondering.
The EXO-500 is a very good deal, and you aren't going to find more comfort or better features for the price in other brands. I have since upgraded to the Shoei RF-1200, as my riding style got a bit more serious and demanded a more refined helmet. To anyone out there wondering if this helmet is worth it, it absolutely is.

Its a little tight when first putting it on,verses others Ive had. But once its on its fine. And maybe its where its brand new and the liner has to stretch some. Im very happy with it and will order Scorpion products in the future!

Overall, a very good helmet (High Vis version)
First, I should say that I ride a scooter in the city. Not some Chinese piece of junk, but a fast Aprilia. Engine size doesn't matter for urban riding, I'm doing 40-50 and speeding downtown as it is. That being said, I wanted a night helmet, with some visibility, but still good looking. And I wanted a drop down visor for night/day conditions without having to change visors. For those needs, it's a great helmet. At 40+mph there is some noise, but there always seems to be. It's a little tighter in the jaw area than my Icon Airmada (both size large). Absolutely zero fog on the main shield, which is a big concern, since the climate here in Savannah is damp year round. Sometimes there can be some minor fog on the drop down visor, but really only at a stop, the vents will clear it in a second after starting again. The pump fit feature is not something I use at all, since as I said the fit is a bit snug. I would assume that if you are between sizes, the pump could make up the difference if you order a size up. The feel is very solid and the vent and visor controls are easy to work with gloves. If I could make any change in the design I would get rid of the old fashioned D rings and put a ratcheting clip for the straps, but that's it.

Great product for the money. Looks great as well. Love the "pump" style adjustable cheek pads for added custom fit. As usual Revzilla offers the best videos and selection out there. Thanks for helping me make a great decision for a second helmet.

A great helmet at a great price!
I purchased the Scorpion EXO-500 Corsica helmet because one of the helmets I already have is an Exo-500 Heritage helmet. I like the fit, feel, and look of both helmets. For me the inflatable cheek pads are not a necessity as the 2x fits me perfectly, possibly as the helmet ages I may use the inflatables.
I like a helmet which will be visible to the drivers / riders around me - hopefully adding an extra level of safety. Both of my helmets are a red, black, and yellow color scheme.
The shield system works great being very easy to remove for switching and cleaning. I bought the second EXO-500 so I would have the interchangeability option. The easy flip down sun visor is an excellent option when needed!
I use the Sena 20s communications system and it mounts quite easily.
Being that I live in Michigan my riding is suspended until tolerable weather I cannot say that I have actually done any riding with the new EXO-500 - I presume that, as the fit is virtually the same as my other helmet that I will be happy with it.
Overall - this helmet is a great value, the price is very reasonable, the overall quality is very good including the graphics, liner, and seals. Revzilla sent this helmet out to me promptly and arrived with no damage.

Great helmet, and saved my head!
Has a lot of features for what you pay. I really liked the blow up cheek pads, and the drop down sun visor was very useful.
My air vents and drop down visor lever all broke after a few months of use.
I low sided wearing this, still got a concussion and had a sore neck for a month, but I'm still riding so I guess it worked.
