Scorpion Serket Taper Exhaust System Kawasaki Ninja 650 / ER6N 2012-2014
I chose this exhaust because even though the other exhausts are cheaper, this one will be cheaper and easier to maintain in the long run due to not needing to be repacked. I also like the warranty where you can have it replaced once at half off in the event that it is damaged in an accident, etc.
The exhaust is well made, but it does not come with instructions. It does come with a diagram that shows what part goes where, but it doesn't tell you in what order to install them. The one issue I had with the diagram is that it had a mistake. It shows the S-shaped diagram being installed on the rider's right-hand side of a bracket, but this causes the exhaust to sit only 2 mm from the rear tire. When I changed it so that it was mounted on the other side, the exhaust moved over and ended up positioned exactly where it should be.
As for not telling you in what order the parts should be installed, if I had to do it over again, I would probably install the black exhaust bracket on the exhaust before mounting it to the motorcycle.
I keep the db-killer installed and enjoy the sound. It's louder enough to be heard, but not so bad that I can ride without ear plugs and enjoy it.
My 2013 Ninja 650 has a very slight deceleration pop once in a while. It doesn't happen often enough, but I plugged the PAIR valve and installed a Power Commander V (I decided to install the PCV at the same time as I plugged the PAIR valve so I wouldn't have to take my bike apart twice). I suggest riding it without mods first to see if the rare decel pop annoys you enough, and if it does, try doing the PAIR valve only. Note that decel popping is usually normal but you don't hear it when using a stock exhaust (the PAIR valve introduces air to promote the popping and burning of fuel).

Top Sound,performance and finish!
I ended up buying the Scorpion Serket Taper Exhaust System (carbon fiber). The quality is excellent and the sound is perfect the youtube videos do not do it justice. I actually did have some popping from the exhaust but once I put the K&N air filter in the popping stopped. I also ended up installing a woolich harness and just recently dropped the bike off to have it dyno tuned. I'll post numbers when the bikes done.

The Scorpion Taper is more expensive than some of the competition, but is a full system, very high quality, perfect fit and finish, and a lifetime warranty. This system never needs to be repacked. I bought this system for the weight reduction over stock, quality look, much improved sound over stock (but not obnoctiously loud (even with the db killer removed)). Throttle response is very smooth. My mecanical skills are 0, and I am proud to say I installed this system myself (main complaint is scorpion has a lack of installation info, but thanks to U-tube, many step by step installation guides were a lifesaver). Actual time to remove stock exhaust and install Scorpion Taper was less than 2 hours. Actual time to remove fairing and reinstall fairing was 6 hours. I am extremely satisfied with the quality, sound, and performance (smoother throttle response) of the Scorpion. I am not impressed with the "so called horsepower gain". If you can't FEEL the horsepower gain, what good is it (even if the dyno says you picked up 3 HP above 8,000 RPM)? For those who want a louder pipe could drill out the connecting pipe flute, but I am not sure how this would affect performance. This system was for my 2013 Ninja 650 ABS. I also ride a Kawasaki 900 Custom and a Yamaha FZ6R.

Hands down best looking exhaust but not the greatest sound quality
For me, the looks was the deciding factor for why i chose this exhaust. And it didn't disappoint. Could not find another exhaust with full carbon fiber as such anywhere else. The only disappointment was the sound of the exhaust. Although, it is a great improvement and much louder than stock, it sometimes felt too quiet. Removing the baffles/silencer improved the sound slightly. Especially noticeable when riding with friends, who have similar twin parrallel engine bikes. My friends ride with 2 brother exhaust, yoshimura, and tyga exhaust all of which make the sound of my exhaust sound really effing pathetic to be honest. Considering I spent double what they would have.
All in all, if you are after the loudest exhaust on this bike, don't choose this exhaust. You will be disappointed. If you are after looks and finish then this will definately please you.

Excellent sound and build quality with noticeable performance gains
I got the Scorpion Serket Taper Carbon Fibre full system for my 2012 Ninja 650 and I must say I am totally floored by it. The exhaust feels so well made with each part beautifully crafted. Installation was quick and simple despite the fact that Scorpion dont provide a detailed instructions booklet with the box.
The carbon fibre finish looks beautiful and looks great on the bike. The sound of the exhaust is amazing and much better than most of the other pipes I heard on the 650. With the baffles off you can be sure to wake up the neighbourhood. Sounds really sweet across the rev range.
Gets a full thumbs up from my side. Good work Scorpion.

Though the prices is pretty steep but like the saying "you get what you paid for" I did alot of researching for exhaust for my 2013 ninja how the scorpion sounded online. It sounds even better in person unlike others ive herd which seems to sound like a lawnmower on crack!
