Scorpion Monroe Pants
These pants will blow your mind
I'm 6' 195lbs. and these pants fit like a dream. Years of doing squats have given me a sizable butt and thighs and I have a tough time finding any pants that fit well. I needed something that I could wear on my commute to work over slacks that didn't look stupid big and wouldn't make my pants a wrinkled mess by the time I got there.
I spent some time looking around at some local shops at brands like Bilt and even Dainese and was not impressed with what I found. All the Bilt's were parachute pants and I could barely get the Dainese on. After reading the reviews of the Scorpion Monroe pants here on Revzilla I decided to take a chance and order them, and I'm glad I did!
I'm about a 32 waist but I usually need a 34 to have enough room to fit my butt in them. Always a 34 length. So I ordered a 34 and it's like these pants were made for me. The waist is probably on the small side of a 34, so I definitely recommend going with a size up from your actual waist size as others have stated (especially if used as overpants). They are just slim enough through the butt and thighs that they look great but are still roomy enough to leave my slacks unwrinkled (with or without the liner). The bottom of the leg fits perfectly over my Sidi Fusion's and creates a nice slim profile.
The overall quality is typical Scorpion - awesome.
I'm blown away by how these turned out. Thank you RevZilla! If not for you I'd be looking like MC Hammer right now in some over priced Bilt's or a skinny jean hipster wannabe in Dainese's.

excelling at the basics
5'10 175lbs. i own a pair of Tour Master Overpants size L, i purchased the Monroe pants in an effort for a better fitting riding pant. Knowing they run small, I still ordered a Medium b/c of the fact that I don't want to wear jeans/regular pants underneath. They fit slim, as others have mentioned. I have the PACIFIC ISLANDER rear end, AKA a big butt and I often have trouble finding pants(jeans, etc.) that fit my rear end comfortably. I want to say these pants are sized similar to those skinny/hipster jeans, although not as skin hugging. I didn't get the Large b/c the pant length(of Medium) is perfect for me. I'd advise a larger size(than regular size) for overpant use. Compared to the Tour Master pants; much better fit, knee padding is much less bulkier(still effective), and the construction of seams and zippers are sturdy(Tour Master pant leg zipper broke quickly). The ventilation zippers(with a cool 'zipper garage') are minimal and are ergonomically placed for maximum effect while at speed. The leg zippers extend high to the thigh and have a nice rubber grip on the actual zipper. Nice bungee cord action at the bottom of pant leg to really tidy up the pant over boot connection. When compared to other brand name pants that cost +$200, I think the Scorpion Monroe pants really give the most bang for the buck for a quality product. I own a Scorpion exo1100 helmet and was fairly interested in the XDR jacket, and now I'm more inclined to purchase more Scorpion products after owning these pants.

While I have only used the Scotpion Monroe pants with the inner liner removed, I believe they're perfect as Overpants. The stretch panels in the knees help give you extra room sitting on the bike, especially when you have a pair of blue jeans underneath. The adjustable waistband helps for a snug fit every time. Wish there was more than just the one jacket-attachment loop but can't complain.
Ventilation is decent enough riding at speed, and the reflectove panels at the bottom do a good job as well.
Very solid pants for your buck. Only complaint is the weak foam hip inserts.

Great pants for tall riders.
These are great pants for tall riders. I wear a 36" inseam and am completely happy with the fit. My only complaints are the lack of a connecting zipper and a velcro adjuster in the hip armor pocket. Not a big deal but it'll cost a little extra to have a zipper sewn in. I did upgrade the hip armor to SAS-TEC to match the knee protection. All in all Scorpion is making some great gear for tall riders and these pants are no exception.

Good product for the price
I've been riding in these for the past month in temperatures from the mid 30s to low 80s. At highway speeds these keep you comfortable until about the mid 40s, below that it gets pretty cold.
I haven't seen any rain yet so I can't comment on the waterproofing.
The only major complaint I have about these is the way the pants and jacket connect. I find the connection between the two to be a bit tentative at best.

Just what I wanted
Completely a coincidence that I bought the Scorpion pants since I recently bought and reviewed the Scorpion Commander II jacket. I wanted a pant that didn't have a lot of zippers and vents and pockets and liners and narrowed it down to a few different brands. I decided on the Scorpion and good call. These pants have great construction, the same soft Exo-Tec armor as my jacket, and they look really great. Doesn't look like you're wearing ski pants. Easy to get on and off (zipper goes up high), fits nicely over boots, and the liner works great. Took a ride to Revzilla in Philly with my buddy on a really cold, windy day and never felt a chill on my lower half. The armor can be adjusted with velcro to a higher or lower position depending on where your knee hits. I am a 34 waist and the size L fits just right as an overpant (I have worn over jeans, sweats or solo). If you are over 34 waist you'll need XL. Doesn't have a zipper attachment, but most jackets you buy that do come with the opposite half zipper that you could have sewn into these if you feel like you need that. Serious bang for the buck on these pants.

These pants are great! I love the fit, not loose like other pants that drag or look like snowboard pants. Normally a size 30-32 in pants, a small fit perfectly. Airflow is decent and the liner keeps you warm in those chilly days. Style is great especially because of the slimmer design. Definitely would buy again, and as always revzilla shipping fast.

Love these pants
I needed a pair of pants for winter here in GA. I went to the scorpionusa.com website and these pants was rated for 50-65 degrees. They have kept me very warm. I've been riding with them in 50 degree weather on the HWY and I don't feel the cold. I wear jeans or sweat pants underneath. My waist is 32-33 and I wear the 34 monroe pants. You'll be happy with these pants
