does the job
This liner does what it's supposed to do. It blocks the wind (that's why the low mark on "air flow"). I really wanted a rain/wind liner but it is not available for this jacket.
This jacket and liner will be great for when the weather starts changing. For winter, it's going to be a tight fit at the wrists with a base layer on.
The liner by itself is nothing without the jacket, so I'll talk about the jacket. I REALLY like this jacket. It's padded and has great airflow. It is an entry level jacket , and I'm an entry level rider so we get along great. If going on a multi day trip, you will need a separate rain suit. It is a pain to stop and put on the suit but that's what get until you can afford the Klim's of the world.
I will move up to a more adventure type jacket/suit when funds allow.
All in all, I'm satisfied with what I have for money I've spent!

I stand a little over 5'10" tall and weigh about 225lbs. I purchased the size 52 and found the arms to be (fractionally) long and a little large around the chest (without extra layers of clothing underneath). When you allow for a sweater and liner-it"s not too bad-nothing that cannot be taken up with the adjustment straps at the waist. As I bought a size or two larger than recommended by the chart-I found the front and back lengths of the jacket to be just right. The liner is a little "plastic bag" like but it is there to stop wind and rain and I am sure it will serve me just fine. Here in Australia it should be able to be used as a four season jacket although we have wet Winters and dry Summers so I will use more traditional waterproof gear in the Winter I find this to be a VERY comfortable jacket and recommend it to anyone in a warmer/humid climate.

M Y: Winter is coming! My jacket did not have one. Price.Sep 26, 2014
Tyler H: I had to get the liner to go with my new drafter jacketMar 10, 2014
Robert N: I bought a mesh jacket locally and it did not include the liner. I looked around for one and having bought some gear from your establishment before(and was satisfied with my purchase)so I naturally thought of you. Lo and behold - you have the item I lacked.Jan 29, 2014
M Y asked:Is this liner water proof? Thanks -Sep 1, 2014
M Y:Thanks guys. I have since found out it is indeed not water proof. No problem, I bought a rain suit. It is a wind proof liner which will do it's job on my short 7 mile ride to work this winter.Sep 26, 2014
Vincent C:I didn't test it in wet weather, however it just seems like light material and it does not feel water resistant. I can't imagine these seams and materials waterproof. Hope this helps.Sep 2, 2014
