The zipper fly is approximately 7.5" in length. These pants are designed to sit at your true waist, so the rise might be taller than what you are used to in jeans.

Answer: 
They don't have that 8" zipper that fits with the Joe Rocket jackets, but there is an extra loop that you can snap onto a jacket loop. I also think that the Luna has 2 front belt attachments in the front.
