Scorpion EXO-R410 Fantasy II Helmet
Maybe an $800 helmet would be quieter and/or lighter and/or more aerodynamic, but I'll never find out because I'm too happy with this one. I am amazed that such a great helmet is available for under $200. It is so quiet that I didn't realize I needed a bigger windshield until I got this helmet - I stood up at 80 mph and it was quieter than being behind the windshield - turbulence around the edges of the windshield was my biggest source of noise. Which I couldn't tell until I got this helmet.
My head is perfectly stable in all wind conditions and angles, including standing up at 80 (some angles can cause mild whistling around the visor edges).
Plus, it's extremely comfortable and looks great! The styling looks way better in real life than in the pictures.
And what I thought was a gimmick - the lever that cracks the visor just a bit - has turned out to be something I use all the time on cold mornings at a stop light. I use it so much I'm afraid I'm gonna wear it out...
An unexpected bonus was that my wife loves it too, and she wants one, she likes the Snell approval and the emergency removable pads.
She also likes the hi-viz color, something she normally does not care for. My old helmet was hi-viz, but Scorpion's version is richer, brighter, and "glows" in the daylight - I get lots of comments about it, whereas my old hi-viz helmet got zero. It's a noticeable difference.
My only complaint is my own fault - instead of following the factory sizing recommendation, I followed the many reviews which said the helmet runs small, so size up. I was borderline, so I sized up - it fit PERFECT the first week, but now after 3 weeks the padding has compressed and it's looser than I would like - pushing the visor up/down makes the helmet move, I don't like that. But I've worn it too much to attempt a return, and besides, I like it so much I don't think I could bear to part with it for the amount of time it would take to exchange it. And it is SO comfortable - I wear glasses, a tighter fit might not be appropriate, so I am unwilling to find out.
I'm not as impressed as others have been with the anti-fog visor. I can still fog it up just as bad as other visors, maybe I have acid breath or something, but the little crack available with the push of a lever makes it all moot, that little lever rocks my anti-fog party... I AM impressed with how easy it is to detach/attach the visor, makes it easy to keep it clean on the inside, which I've found is far more important than the anti-fog coating.
I'm really impressed, would buy another one in a heartbeat, and actually will, for my wife! Great Value.

Good price and fit
Good price and nice fit. Could be a little better with airflow.

Very great brand!
I have always chose Scorpion as my helmet of choice. There are so many styles and I absolutely love the chameleon effect this helmet has. The white outline helps make you stick out a little more at night providing visibility to others. Lots of vents which gives great airflow on those hot humid days.

Great helmet for price
Almost impossible to beat this helmet for under $300. The look, fit, and features are perfect for me. Video was very helpful, as usual.

This Helmet Saved a Life
My brother and I both bought this helmet about a year ago as our first helmets when getting our licenses. For starters, I love nearly everything about this helmet. It looks pretty good, depending on what color/pattern you choose, and fits comfortably for long rides, a sweaty or sore head was never a problem. The biggest complaint I have has to do with wind noise. Early on, I would come back from rides and my ears would be ringing slightly from the abuse they took from wind noise. However, this was easily fixed by wearing ear bud headphones or ear plugs.
Here is the real reason I love this helmet though, it saved my brothers life. Just a few days ago he was out on a ride and had a low-side at relatively high speeds. He and the bike slid straight towards a guard rail, the bike got pinned against the rail, and he somehow went under the railing and into the woods. On his way under the guardrail he smashed his head into it and then the ground, immediately knocking him unconscious. We picked him up from the hospital hours later with just some stitches, bruises (he was wearing full gear boots, pants, jacket gloves) and by the graces of the engineering of this helmet, no concussion or head injury of any kind. He is going back to his normal life and although my family can't say they are happy about many things in this situation, this helmet is one of them.

Wanting something more safe and visible than matte black, but not hi-fiz, I purchased the solid white edition of this as my first helmet. I was on the fence between sizes and decided to size down. The small fit snugly at first, but the padding broke in well and I haven't had any problems; I probably could've sized up if I'd wanted to try a medium, but didn't want to keep playing the order-and-return-shipping game with Revzilla.
Having a SNELL2010 rating and slightly ovular shape also swayed me into purchasing this helmet. The fit was better for my head than similarly priced BELL or BILT helmets, and cost less than half as much as a SHOEI.
I also ended up purchasing a silver mirrored Scorpion EXO-R2000 / EXO-R410 Face Shield, which I've been very happy with. The shield changing is quick and easy. As a matter of personal preference, it also really improves the look of a plain white helmet.

Takes some getting used to
My head is kind of weird shaped so when I first started wearing the helmet I felt like it was crushing my forehead. After a while I got used to it. I suppose it could be just part of having a better fit for Snell approval. The face shield has a good seal but air flow from the vents seems slightly better than my cheap previous helmet. The quick shield changes are no joke. This helmet also seems to have preplanned areas at the ears to accept Bluetooth intercom speakers. I have installed intercom in my helmet with no problems.
