Scorpion EXO-R2000 Ion Helmet
This helmet is fantastic. Everything I wanted in a helmet at the right price.

Decent deal if you buy on clearance
I had high hopes for this helmet. Looks great and has a decent price, good ratings and lots of Moto GP use.
The interior liner is one of the worst I have ever felt. It would be "okay" on a $150 helmet. not on one in this price range. As near to wearing a helmet with just the EPS as I have ever worn. No matter what the video says, IMO, its far worse than the HJC RPHA 10.
fit finish is again in the $150 helmet range. The paint was chipped before I took the new helmet out of the box, and it had several mars in it. I'm not sure if it was a one off, or not but at $300 it souldn't have these issues. I have 10 year old Shoei's that still look brand new that didn't cost much more than this helmet.
It does come with 2 shields, which is great. Save $50 by getting the dark shield for free.
I don't know how to describe the fit. Video says inter oval. but I thought it fit my head well and I came from a Shoei RF-1000 which is more round than oval and this helmet fit very close. However, it fit large. I wear XL in every helmet with a 61.5 cm head and XL in the helmet was large enough that at speed, it lifted off my head. Yet size L had to be pressed down so it was one big pressure point all the way around my head.
If you can get this helmet on clearance and want a nice looking helmet, that you aren't worried about keeping for more than a year or 2, then it may be okay for you. Mine went back.

Caught this helmet on clearance. Great fit, wide vision, comes with smoke and clear visors. I have been riding with this helmet for about 3 weeks now and I honestly can't complain about one thing so far.

Visor seals very well. The cracked open setting is awesome too, improves airflow and doesn't expose your eyes.
Top Vents work, first helmet I've had that i could feel the difference.
Comes with a nice helmet bag and visor protective sleeve for the spare they include.
Long D-ring straps for easy removal.
The helmet clicks when turning my head, narrowed it down to the liner where it connects in the front under the brow vent, the plastic part of the liner seems a little warped and doesn't seem to sit 100%.
Also the liner is a bit stiff like sheets with low thread count.
Chin vent works too, i can feel the airflow, however it creates wind noise when open and i leave it shut. But 3/4 or tucked position maybe better.
I didn't notice any difference with the brow vent open or closed, may help with fogging though.
Not too impressed with the overall quality, not a bad helmet though.
Wasn't expecting a matte finish.

Great helmet . Air fit cheek pad system is great. Surprised.
I love this helmet. When I first got it and rode with all the vents open it was pretty loud. When you slightly tuck or ride a little less than full upright it is surprisingly quiet.
After taking it on a 1500 mile trip I am very happy with this helmet. Nice weight , the main reason I bought this in addition to the price . I have had more than one neck injury so weight is a factor. As it breaks in and I figure out what the best combination of vents are , the noise is much more manageable. I ride behind a windshield almost all of the time.
The features I like the most: The air-fit system for the cheek pads. I use this a lot. At higher speeds it really helps quiet down the helmet and to keep it rock steady on my head. No buffeting when I head check at all. The weight of the helmet. Comfort . The more I wear it the more I love it.
I was really pleased with the quality of this helmet. Some of the scorpion helmets I have looked at were kind of junky but not this one. The EXO-R2000 is a top notch helmet. I like the way it is set up. Lots of cool features that you actually enjoy using. I know it is a race helmet but I toured on a trike with it and loved it. I have had Arai, Shoei, HJC, Nexx, and a couple of others. I think this is one of the best helmets I have ever had. I hope when I go to purchase another helmet in a few years these are still around. One more thing , the visor seals up tightly and does not leak water in the rain. The anti-fog works reasonably well. I wear glasses under the helmet so the glasses fog up more than the shield does. When going under freeway speeds I use the shield lock mechanism and raise the shield for city venting, anti fog and cooling off.
All in all very happy with this helmet. Best helmet bag I have ever seen free with helmet. Dark visor with visor bag included with helmet. Well done Scorpion . Value , and an awesome helmet on one deal.
Revzilla rocks as always. Got the helmet to me intact and undamaged in two days for very reasonable rates. So I could have it to go on my trip with.

Saved my life
I struck an improperly turning SUV yesterday at around 50 mph and was thrown headfirst through trash cans and into a ditch. This helmet saved my life. It protected my face and was light enough that my head wasn't thrown around in the impact. My head didn't feel a thing even though it went through two large and full trashcans. the cans were obliterated but i suffered no head or neck injuries. Was I lucky? yes, but did the helmet provide outstanding protection? Yeah... I'm ordering a new one right away.

I bought this helmet mainly because the first helmet I bought was much too large and moved around quite a bit (I bought my first helmet before I knew anything about proper helmet fit).
My head measures in at about 23.5" and the Large fits perfectly. It's light and extremely comfortable. The design looks amazing when you see it in person (the pictures simply don't do it justice).
Unfortunately since I'm new to the motorcycling scene and don't have a bike yet, I can't speak for the quality of air flow, vision, noise level, or protection/durability.
All in all, given my limited experience, this helmet is 100% worth the price paid
** Please note that I currently do not own a motorcycle. The Ninja 300 that is shown at the bottom of this review is there because I was looking around at parts for a friend's bike and added it to the garage. I don't know how to change or remove it, so I guess it's stuck there for now xD **

Great Helmet for the Naked Bike Crowd
I'll preface that I like my other helmet - a Bell RS-1. But I found the helmet's poor seal around the eye port leaked too much air on my Street Triple, which dried out my contact lenses at speeds over 45mph (not useful when commuting in DC!)
Enter the EXO-R2000. The chin curtain and better seal around the eyeport is superior to the RS-1, and I found the helmet less prone to buffeting on my bike. (For reference, I'm 5'6" and my bike has the the flyscreen on it.) I also really like the inflatable cheek pads. I tried pulling the helmet off after inflating the cheekpads, and I couldn't get the helmet off, which means it probably won't roll off in the event of a crash. Absolutely great feature! The fact that it's pretty quiet is another bonus.
I still wear the RS-1 around the city around dusk because of the Transitions shield, but if I'm hitting the highway, I'm taking the Scorpion
I've owned Bells, Arais, and Sharks, and this one is my favorite so far!
