Air flow is excellent not because of the vents, but because there are several detentes which permits different size openings for the face shield while riding. This is also helpful since there was, in the rain, some fogging of the face shield, which is easily dissipated by opening the face shield slightly. Although Revzilla assumed the face shield is bullet proof, there is, etched in very tiny letters on the side of the shield a caveat that it is not warranteed shatterproof. Nevertheless, I have no doubt the shield was designed for good protection. This is a quality helmet which has dual certification, DOT and ECE. For me the fit was good without having to use the air bladder, which I believe to be a good design feature. Can't tell you about the noise level because I always ride with ear plugs. The sun shield tint is very good. Your head will feel well protected in this full face helmet.
