Marvin D: I ordered a 2X large helmet and felt it was too tight so instead of returning it I purchased the 3X liner, worked out great!Jun 29, 2015
William K: My new "used" helmet came with a liner that was too smallMay 31, 2015
Ben L: Loaned my helmet to a buddy to take his MSF course, and his big head stretched out my liner. Felt like a floppy bucket when I got it back. Solution:New cheek pads. Good as/better than new.Feb 27, 2015
Thomas D: Wife's helmet too tight - causing headaches. Switched from XS to S. Perfect.Dec 22, 2014
I have the EXO 500 in a medium. I get a hotspot on my forehead after about an hour of riding. From what i can tell its most likely from me having a oval head. Is there any way to modify this with a different liner or anything to help? thanks!Jun 25, 2015
Heather D:I have an oval head, too, and I also experienced this when the liner was too small. This liner is definitely oval in shape. Although I got this a while ago, I only yesterday swapped it out (end of the school year had me very busy) and I haven't yet worn it for longer than 30 minutes at a time. I have six helmets, all different brands: Sparx, SevenZeroSeven, Shoei, Bell, Zox, Scorpion- and of them all, the Scorpion most certainly fits the tightest all around. The most comfortable? Shoei and SevenZeroSeven. As for adjusting? Unless I go another size up (I'd have to get size up in helmet, too), I don't think anything but wearing it A LOT and breaking the liner down will make a difference. I hope this helps!Jun 25, 2015

Joseph R:I bought my helmet in a large but then got medium pads I changed one check pad to a large to release some pressure on my checks so maybe running a large on the top section will help take some pressure off. Also I know it's pricey but try on the new exo t1200 it's a totally different shape. Good luckJun 25, 2015
Ben L:The sizing has to do with the shell sizing and the EPS, the cheek pads would likely be universal in thickness but the snaps might not line up with MD vs LG. Best bet, give the guys a ring and ask if they can offer advice. Bought my new set after a friend with a big head stretched out my lid, felt tight as new. But the lid does stretch out as you ride, first ride should always be a little tight. Up to you if it's "snug" or "miserable".Oct 13, 2014
Peter G:I would think so, but I.m not sure. I have a Large helmet and bought a large replacement liner. It fits snugg like when it was new. I.m not sure if a medium liner will fit in a large shell ( that's a good question for scorpion) but if it does, then it would make it tighter. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Happy ridingOct 11, 2014
Walter W:Yep. I bought the M helmet and it ended up being a little too tight on the cheeks and hurting my ears when removing the helmet. I moved up to the L liner and now it fits perfectly as it's slightly more roomy.Oct 15, 2014
Thomas D:I ordered ITEM # 50-603-60-03 (KW Liner) for EXO-500 Small-Extra Small helmet shell. Converted Extra Small (XS) to Small (S) for my wife's helmet. Item included the cheek pads with the head liner. Easy to replace (same procedure for washing).Aug 21, 2013
Thomas D:According to the Scorpion USA web site, the XL size can only accommodate larger liners. The Medium and Large share the same shell size, allowing liner changes. Try contacting Scorpion directly at 1-888-672-6774. Hope this helps.May 9, 2014
A shopper asked:I bought the XL helmet. Perfect head shape for my fat head, but the cheekpads made it impossible to wear. I've been using the helmet for 6 months with no cheekpads. Is there a set I can get that will fit my fat face?Feb 15, 2014
