Pedro N: I bought a EXO 1100 and the fit isn't quite there after break-in period. I am looking for a little room in the ears section (maybe I have big ears.... or they are getting bigger as I get old-er.)Jul 29, 2014
Tony S: Just as a back up or when my original wears outJun 20, 2014
casie h: I have a scorpion exo 1100 helment I purchased in small a year ago. Now I have a lot more hair and its tight in the forehead and causing headaches. Scorpions helment shells are the same in small and medium. This should give me enough room to fix the problem and all much cheaper than buying a new helment.May 31, 2014
Laura H: I wear make-up and the liner is getting dirty. As I ride every day, I need a backup for when I'm washing it.Apr 29, 2014
Troy P asked:can I replace my Exo size large liner with an XL liner?Aug 12, 2013
I bought a size Small liner & cheekpads a while ago off Revzilla to replace my size Medium liner & cheekpads in size Medium helmet.
The thing is, EXO 1100 comes only in two shell sizes, so as long as the liner & cheekpads are for the same shell size, you can replace them no prob. You will have to double check this online, but if I recall this correctly, XS, S, and M size helmets are one shell size and L, XL, and XXL are also one shell size.
This means that you should be able to replace size L liner & cheepkads with size XL.
I also found it helpful to watch the Revzilla EXO 1100 review where they showed how to replace the liner & cheekpads.Aug 13, 2013
T W A:Yes the Large-XL and XXL liners all fit in the same shell. The Small and Medium liners fit in the smaller shell. There's two shell sizes. You can measure from the brow vent to the rear lower lip to see which shell you have. One is roughly 18 inches, the other is around 19".Sep 12, 2014
David S:It may work, but keep in mind (I verified this with Scorpion) the XS, S and Med are one shell size and L, XL and XXL are another. So you might run in to trouble. If it is just a bit tight in the cheeks you might be okay just replacing the cheekpads like yous said. Revzilla has great return policy, so no harm in giving it a shot.Sep 14, 2014
Brian S:Based on the info that I got from another motor cycle gear store, the large, XL & 2XL helmets are a Large shell size & the XS, small & medium are a Small shell size. Unfortunately, the large cheek pads won't fit the Small shell size helmets. Might want to call Revzilla to verify this info.Sep 14, 2014
T W A:Negative. The Medium and Small use the same shell. The Large, XL, and XXL are the same shell. Personally, I purchased a Large via mail order last year, but someone substituted the smaller shell. The factory honored their warranty and gave me a new real Large.Sep 12, 2014
Jose A:Hi Jason, I had a similar issue but vice versa, my helmet was large an felt loose, I medium pads and now it fits perfect. I comepared the pads side by side and they are the same size just different width. I hope this helps you with your decision. Sep 12, 2014
A shopper asked:i bought one of these helmets from another company. I bought it in a large, since I knew a large would fit ( i already own an EXO700 in Large ). Turns out it didn't fit, like, not at all. It hurts to even just put it on. The problem is, even the large cheekpads look like they barely fit into it. They don't sit flush with the rim of the helmet, they actually stick out further below. I have pictures if it helps.
My question is, how much further in sizes should I go? At this moment, it isn't the size of my head that's the problem, so knowing my head circumference and matching it to a liner/cheekpads isn't going to fix it. I'm thinking a 1XL or possibly a 2XLDec 23, 2014
Lonnie A:I don't know if this will help but I wear a large in Shoei and I bought the EXO 1100 in XL which fits my head and the cheek pads in XXL to fit my cheeks. The EXO 1100 is very odd sized compared to other helmets. I had to go to a local store to try one on to figure out the fit and would have bought from them but they wouldn't sell me just the cheek pads to customize the fit. Costumer service really counts if you are selling locally because the Internet will under sell any product. Good luck and I hope you get the helmet to fit because it is a good helmet. Dec 24, 2014
