The Scorpio SRi900 Security System introduces the next step in motorcycle security by incorporating the convenience of hand free operation to an ultra-compact 2 way FM paging security system.
By utilizing RFID technology the system is able to know when the remote is in range, allowing the user to never have to reach for the remote to arm it. The SR-i900 transceiver is capable of receiving alarm triggers from up to 1/2 Mile away from the motorcycle.
For its sensing mechanism, the SR-i900 utilizes a built in accelerometer that detects both impact and changes of angles with a high degree of accuracy. This allows the module to be placed in any position or mounting angle.
SR-i900 includes TRS-9 remote transceiver, charging cord, MCM (main control module), RFID antenna, universal installation kit, accessory harness and main harness.
Ultra low power drain main control module (MCM)
Built-in 120 dB multi-tone siren with soft chirp arming
Not 100% on it yet, however...wouldn't go any other way
Bought this with the oem ready scorpio wiring harness for my 2009 kawasaki ninja zx6r. Breeze of an install no need to pay like 400 bones at a shop to have them do it.
As for the alarm it's self:
-rfid is a nice feature but I left it unplugged because I like arming and disarming the alarm myself. Makes me sleep better.
-features of remote are easy to use and directions help so I had no issues learning to use it. Screen lights up and dims when not in use to save battery. No complaints there....except...I've noticed sometimes that the remote screen will slightly flicker and I'm not soo sure why.
-shock sensor: my least favorite feature. Wanted something that would scare off a kid or theft who simply touched my bike. Even at the most sensitive level you must kick the tire before it goes off or tilt it up (setting of tilt sensor) before it goes off. I mounted it exactly how it asks and it is touching both frame and fairings of my bike but I can't get it more sensitive. I'm planning on getting a proximity sensor and setting it very low that way you have to be nearly on the bike for it to go off. I didn't want to do this because many people have to walk by at work and I didn't want it constantly going off. But at a loss there not sure what's wrong or if it's user error.
Other than that, love it for sense of security plus people think it's bad af when they see you arm and disarm a bike. Also I still use my onguard chain and abus disk lock in tough areas but I feel confident with just the alarm some times. I recommend anyone who doesn't trust people and knows how easy it is to steal a bike get this. One may also look into the gorilla alarms. Way cheaper but the shock sensor is amazing no matter where placed.

Getting the job done
The installation was relatively straightforward, and I consider myself a noob when it comes to this type of thing. During the installation, the alarm was accidentally triggered, and it was VERY loud. Scared the $@#* out of me! I almost exclusively use the manual on and off function, and it has worked flawlessly. Tonight, my alarm was triggered, and when I ran out to my bike (less than 100 feet from my office), I found a guy crawling under a nearby gate and he kept running. Based on the distance of the kickstand from the kickstand plate that I use, this possible would-be thief moved the bike only an inch or two before he triggered the alarm. So far, I'm very satisfied with this product, which I installed a few months ago, and I feel it was money well-invested.

Great alarm system for my motorcycle!
I bought this product from revzilla.com and it’s a really great alarm system for my motorcycle. It’s very very easy to install and very reliable. If you finish the installation and the alarm doesn't work as is expected, remember to do the encoding of the remote (page 12 in the user's manual). The perimeter sensor is great and you can turn on/off as you like from the remote.
Two additional comments:
1. In my case I’ve bought the Factory Connection Kit for my Yamaha R6 and it was 100% unnecessary. You can do the same thing with the standard Connection Kit provided for free with the alarm.
2. For my the only feature that is missing in this alarm is the capability of turn off automatically the motorcycle and trigger the alarm when the motorcycle is running and remote control is no present. This is in case of hijacking the bike when you’re on the road.

Bryn H:Yes it will, you just need to find a good mounting position for the system. Just as a heads up, unless you get the factory connector kit you will need to splice wires. But you can give Scorpio a call and see if they can get you a factory connector kit for your bike.Mar 27, 2015
Khaled S:It should work. i installed it on my Ducati MTS 1200S and it was straight forward and easy. it is more or less stand alone system that needs minor connections to the bike's wiring loom.Mar 27, 2015
Michael G:I don't have a Trumph, but I installed mine on a BMW S1000RR. T/he size of the actual unit is pretty small and I was able to install it under the seat behind my battery. I hade just enough room for the unit and wire management. It was very easy to install and only took about an hour. Most of the time was planning where I wanted to install it. Hope this helps.Feb 24, 2015
