Schuberth SR-1 Pinlock-Ready Face Shield
Pricey yet excellent quality helmet
•Very high quality feel.
•Low noise levels.
•Face shield removal procedure is slightly fussy.
•Large shell size feels, well, large.
Overall I'd say this is a great quality helmet and would reccommend it to anyone. The cons I have listed are really all I could think of and I had to be pretty nitpicky to come up with that list. I would say the expression "You get what you pay for" is very applicable for this product.

Great Face Shield
I'm so pleased with this shield, blue mirror looks good with my helmet, great on sunny or cloudy days, no distortion - rather expensive but worth it.

Perfect tint for bright days
Shield is great for bright days though not recommend for night time riding. But then my eye sight isn't the best so it could still be used.

Darn pricy for a faceshield. Optically very very good
The light tint is so close to a clear shield that one could use it all day and night. It was too light for me and I traded to the dark side, sorry, shield. Yes it looks awesome but it functions perfectly. A lot of money for a shield, anxious to see how it holds up to a years worth of abuse - that's how long my shield usually last.
Schuberth's mount system is easy to use once you figure it out. Less demanding or nerve racking than Arai's quicker than Shoei's.

I have an ARAI Corsair V (Troy Lee Design) too and the SR-1
has definitely taken it's place. The comfort and weight and style of this helmet is phenomenal. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my gear and this helmet has surpassed my expectations!!

Silver mirror looks awesome! If your thinking about it do it !!

As expected, considering the helmet is pairs with - the SR1
My only knock is that the 80% tint makes daytime turn to night. Otherwise, the view port is clearer than the stock clear shield. I purchased the silver mirror and light smoke. The light smoke could be considered for a daily driver, day & night if you're a city dweller or burn HIDs.
Further, it complements the SR1 to create a simply menacing look. The clear shield doesn't do it any justice, but add the mirror or the smoke, and make the $1000 investment worth every penny in look, feel, performance, and fashion statement.
