Schuberth C3 Cheek Pads

Replacement Cheek Pads for Schuberth C3 Helmets.

Cheekpads may only be swapped within the same shell size. Shell sizes breakdown:

  • 2XS-SM
  • MD-LG
  • XL-2XL
  • 3XL

In other words, a size SM helmet can take the cheekpads from a 2XS helmet, but not from an XL.

  • 2XS - 30mm
  • XS - 20mm
  • SM - 15mm
  • MD - 20mm
  • LG - 15mm
  • XL - 20mm
  • 2XL - 15mm
  • 3XL - 15mm

Schuberth C3 Cheek Pads Bought the liner and cheek pads together sz-58 - 59 large for $89 for both, I have a size medium Helmet, 56-57, 7 1/8", because that's the size chart that I fell into with the Schuberth size chart. The medium was a little tight for me so I switch out the liner and cheek pads, I hated to spend another $90 bucks but it did what I needed it to do, install was not hard. If you need a little more room this is the way to go. March 11, 2013
Factory replacements These are Schuberth factory replacment parts and fit perfectly. The C3 has two shell sizes and I have the larger one. I purchased the 2x floor model/display helmet but just replaced the pads with the 3x size pads and the helmet actually fits me better. I had tried on a 3x in the dealership when I bought the helmet and it was too tight compared to the 2x which had been broken-in on the floor. It felt like a new helmet after replacing the parts. Answer: 
You can either tighten or loosen the fit in your helmet by switching the cheekpads. Just make sure to choose the right size.

If the lg, 2xl and 3xl are all 15mm thick and any cheek pads can be used in any helmet, what is the difference? Does the chin strap cover get longer with the bigger sizes?

Answer: 
Good question! I spoke with Schuberth to get clarification. The sizes Double Extra Small, Extra Small and Small use the same shell, then adjust fit with either the 30mm (2XS), 20mm (XS) and 15mm (S) cheek pads. The Medium and Large share a shell and do the same, as well as the Extra Large and Double Extra Large. The Triple Extra Large has its own shell and used the 15mm pads. The chin strap cover does not get longer with different sizes, allowing you to use any of the cheek pads in any of the helmets.
