NIce saddle worth the money. I bought this saddle for my 2011 Suzuki GSX1250FA. I was getting numb butt on longer rides. The saddle fit and looked great. I would say it helped significantly with the numbness but didnt totally eliminate it. Maybe I am too old and just get a cruiser? IDK.. September 29, 2014
Sargent Suzuki GSX1250FA Seat The stock seat on my Suzuki GSX1250FA would start to become uncomfortable after about an hour of riding. I decided to purchase the Sargent replacement. Installation was a snap. Sargent says the seat will conform to your seating position over time. I have found the foam in the seat, after a year, is still very firm, as in hard. I don't really find this seat giving me the comfort on long rides that I would expect, as in my case, it is too firm. Fit and finish is excellent as with all Sargent products. Seat includes a small compartment for your papers, like registration and insurance, which is a very nice feature. September 28, 2014
I ended up with the 'low' I purchased the standard for my 2009 Suzuki 1250 bandit, but I ended up with the 'low' version. I am 6'1" with long legs and very long arms. the standard seat put me a little too high, but WAY too far back. The short seat is a little lower, but more importantly (to me), the 'butt' of the saddle - the u-shaped rise in the front portion of the saddle - is about 1.5" shorter than the standard seat, and felt perfect for me. unless you are extremely tall, or very heavy (i am 220 lbs) - the 'heavy' guys perhaps having a larger posterior, which would push them more forward on the seat - you may want to try the short version first. either way: great seat. Good for high riders, but you need handlebar risers Good for high riders, but I'm sitting to far from handlebar now, so I have to either move front and sit on narrow part of the saddle or I have somehow rise my handlebar up and back. April 30, 2014
Better than stock This seat is wider than the stock seat and is flat, not slanted forward. Much more comfortable. The pain is still there after a couple hundred miles- it's just a little less.In all fairness I don't think any motorcycle seat can be as comfortable as a car seat due to the ergonomics involved. I can ride longer and be in less pain with the Sargent . October 7, 2013
So much more comfortable I guess there is no such thing as an inexpensive good seat,so....just fork it over, you'll be glad you did July 1, 2013
Suzuki Sargent Seat Installed this seat on a Suzuki GSX 1250. The OEM seat provided a comfortable ride for about 1 1/2 hours before causing discomfort that lasted all day. This seat provides enough comfort to easily ride for 3 hours plus without a break. The rear seat hasn't been tested but appears to be just as comfortable as the front. April 29, 2013
Great Product! After installing the seat, I went for a ride and it was all that I expected it to be. Then I took my wife for a ride and she had exclaimed that the seat was wonderful and she was not sore at all. Thanks Revzilla for a great product. The only thing that I could recommend is that you carry the back rest for the seat. That would be fantastic! June 19, 2012

A shopper asked: I am sure that the driver will be more comfortable. How about the passenger? Does this seat make them more comfortable too? I ride a 2009 Bandit 1250SEA ( Canadian Edition which includes Givi luggage for touring) Jun 29, 2014

Jeffrey M: It certainly helps the passenger, puts them in a more reclined position. According to my passenger, the backrest, however, is essential. I bought the sargent backrest. You can also install a topcase with a backrest, but beware of the OEM topcase rack. Tends the cramp the rider and not compatible with the sargent backrest, which really requires the rear grab bar. I'm installing the Givi rack (and reinstalling the rear grab bar) to move the topcase up and back. Also, the passenger pegs are a bit high and tight. Thinking about lowering them. Hope this helps. Peter C: I have the Sargent seat on my GSX 650 AF and the driver's seat is much more comfortable than the OEM. However, I have nor compared the passenger seat comfort. I expect it would be better, but not as substantially as the Driver's seat.. Jun 30, 2014

James A: I can only speak for me. The seat is a great improvement over the stock one. It is no cure. After 4 to 6 hours in the seat you will be hurting. I do not carry a passenger. Jul 1, 2014

Peter C: I have the GSX 650 F with hard bags and the Sargent seat fits perfectly. Comfortable for short and medium distance and by wearing cycling underwear I was able to do 300 miles in 4.5 hours with no stiffness or discomfort in my nether regions.(I normally get off every hour or so to stretch and coffee. A shopper asked: I notice that this seat offers a "low seat height option" ... my bike(Suzuki GSX 650F) is a bit tall for me and I really don't want to lower it. Would buying the low seat help at all? May 11, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: This seat is about 1 inch lower than the stock seat, so it should help out a little bit. May 17, 2013
