Sargent World Sport Performance Seat Ducati 620/750/900
Great seat, but it really changes sitting position
In general, I really like this seat. The finish and construction is excellent, it's lightweight, but feels durable and the tool container underneath is so much better than the box I had on my original Monster seat. That said, there are a couple of issues...
1: It REALLY changes the sitting position. The height of the seat is at least an inch if not two higher than the OEM seat. Fortunately, I'm 6' 1" and the Monster is already low so it's no problem to get my feet down. However, I now have a hard time fitting my knees into the cutouts under the tank. They ride higher and sit along the bottom bulge of the tank instead of below like before with the OEM seat. If I slide my butt back a bit I can fit, but then the reach to the bars is slightly less comfortable. This is a small issue, but it's important to note. I basically feel less connected to the bike. This may change over time, but it's my biggest thumbs down on this product.
2: The combination of the higher, flatter seat and the smooth leather, I find myself sliding around a bit. With jeans it seems to be ok, but with nicer pants that have a smoother material, I slide back when accelerating from a light. Again, a small issue that may improve as the seat wears in, but it's a new issue that I never had with my old OEM seat.
So... again, I like this seat a lot for it's comfort and finish. I just felt that others might want to know about these two things when considering the purchase.

Big improvement over stock seat
Purchased for 2001 Monster 900 i.e. Design, construction, fit and finish all very good. Underseat storage and tie down points nice additions. Don't have seat cowl so don't know how well it fits. Hardware included with seat.
Big improvement in comfort! Stock seat caused a lot of "bunching". None with Sargent.
Fit of seat to tank looks a little "off" but Sargent point out on their website necessary to improve comfort.
Too soon to comment on durability but no concern. Reputation very good.
As usual, Revzilla service excellent.

I love my Sargent seat on my BMW R1200RT
Although I do not have a Ducati Monster, I do have a Sargent seat on my BMW R1200RT. I can ride a 12 hour day in my Sargent seat without feeling discomfort.
I had a Corbin saddle on a Kawasaki Concourse. And, of course, all of my many bikes have started with the OEM seat from the factory.
The best seat BY FAR has been my Sargent seat. The foam is firm, but not as hard as the Corbin (which was more like wood than foam). The material on my Sargent seat still looks like new, even 4 years and 25,000 miles later.
The first Sargent seat I had on my bike developed a crack in the seat pan at a stress point after just one year. I sent it back to Sargent and they sent me a replacement for free. The replacement has lasted for 3 years with no issues.
The Sargent seat fits on the bike perfectly, no issues with fitting or installation.

Feels like a new Bike!
I also purchased this for my 2007 Duc Monster 695 after seeing the review on how comfortable it was & that it fits an 07'.I was always on the fence between Sargent and Corbin seats, but I'm so glad I picked Sargent.
First off, thanks to Revzilla for sending this in a timely manner, and for free shipping of course! When I got the seat, it was simple instructions: just slide into the front latches & the back will follow. That's It!
I am 6'1'', and the OEM seat was always feeling a little too low, this one brought it to a perfect riding stance. No sliding anymore & my posture feels slightly more upright giving my abs & lower back a little more tension (which is nice) than on my wrists & shoulders. I feel more responsive to maneuvers. After 2hr rides, I'm not even slightly sore.
The see-thru canister that goes under the seat is spacious & way easier to open than the OEM compartment. I haven't put my toolkit in there yet, but I'm 99% positive it fits with some room for more.
Don't think twice about your next upgrade, this is it right here.

Best mod for comfort
I put this on my 07' monster 695(this seat fits all 2000-2007, check seargent's site for info). If you're a taller rider on a monster this is a must have mod. The seat adds a good inch and a half to seat hieght and will stop you from sliding into the tank and crushing your man(or lady) pieces. Way more comfotable for longer rides. I went on a 4 1/2 hour ride last weekend and it didn't bother my back or rump.
