Sargent World Sport Adventure Touring Seat Kawasaki KLR650 1991-2016
Makes my KLR much better for long rides.
After riding for a couple hours on my KLR650 I usually could not feel my butt for a few hours afterwards. This seat made longer rides no problem at all, and I am so glad I got it. Also love that it does not slope forward as much so that there is not as much pressure on my boys as you slide forward on the stock seat. My passenger says it is much better than stock as well.

Like it at the first glance
I did not have the chance to ride with my bike because it is the winter but I like the seat, good looking, excellent quality, it is wide at the back for good confort and the most important it is lower than the original by a good 2 inches. I was expecting the seat narrower at the front but still ok. I am sure I will enjoy it with my KLR 650 2013.

stock seat was to high for me and only bought this to lower the seat height. after installing it and taking it out for a few rides breaking the seat in this seat has proven to be well worth the money spent. comfort is very nice compared to the stock seat i could ride 30 miles and my butt would hurt! this seat though i can ride a lot longer with out having to stop to take a walk! all in all i would have to say this was the best upgrade i have done to my KLR650

Whole new ride.
I was hesitant on buying a new seat because everyone's fit is different. Even after only 350mi, it's like having a new bike again. The ride is better and so much more comfortable. Wish I would of done it sooner.

Another Satisfied Sargent Seat Customer!
This is my fourth, or so, Sargent Seat and they still put out a quality product! I put this one on my '14 KLR 650 and what a difference! No more squiggling and squirming after a few miles. I am 6'1" and got the standard height one and it actually allows me to plant my feet a little firmer at the stop. Others complained about how difficult it was to install, mine just popped right in place (helps if you know there are two connection points at the fuel tank). I also have a Sargent Seat on my BMW R12RT and it performs the same way...excellent!

Well worth the price!
This makes the KLR much more enjoyable for long rides. Replaced my 2008 KLR650 saddle with 25,000 miles. I'm 6ft, 185lbs - new saddle is far more comfortable.

I bought this because I could not stand my stock KLR seat for more than 50 miles. I had to get off. The Sargent is shaped much different, and is a bit softer. The KLR seat is narrow and convex. The Sargent is 50% wider and slightly concave. Much better for longer rides. I cannot speak to durability, as I have only had the seat for 3 weeks. It is pricy, but much more rideable than stock.

Could be better
This seat is better than the stock seat but not not by much. I do not find it any more comfortable than the stock seat and there is this ridge or bump right where I like to sit. I can't figure out where on the seat they intended the driver to sit because it is too narrow up front and the wide pan is too far back. I also had a hard time getting the seat on, it does not "line up" well. The material it is made of is slippery when wearing my mesh pants. I've never had a seat before do that. The only reason I'm still using it is because the seat is about 1/2 inch lower which gives me more confidence when stopped. I am hoping the seat will break in and conform more to my butt and sitting position.
