Sargent World Sport Adventure Touring Seat BMW F650GS / F700GS / F800GS
Huge upgrade over stock seat
This seat transformed my F800gs from a commuter to a touring bike. Way more comfy that stock. Nice to be able to slide back and forth to find a different riding position. Just a few rides to break in then very comfy for the long haul.

Fitment issues galore
Large, unequal gaps between the seat and tank when compared to original seat. Yes, its more comfortable but not at the price.

Odd fit, but great product
The fit is somewhat odd. It's like it is twisted, and so there is a gap between the top part and the "gas tank" on my BMW F800GS. One side is simply a better fit than the other. Odd.
Other than that, it's extremely durable, I've been through mud, rain, dust, etc, and nothing has phased it so far.

Very comfortable upgrade from the stock seat.
I purchased the Sargent seat to use instead of the stock seat. The stock seat on the F800GS tended to bite into my inner thighs and was overly hard. Additionally, because of the pronounced butt-pan curve (this may be more pronounced on the seat I have, as the previous owner had installed a low factory seat), it did not allow much movement forward and backward on long rides or when off road. I just did 2300 miles on an off road in 11 days, and it I am entirely satisfied with both the comfort and functionality of the seat. It was comfortable without any of the pressure points of the stock seat and allowed for great movement on the bike on and off road. The only reason I only gave it a 4 on durability is that I worry about the long term durability of the piping at the edge. However, so far no problems or wear spots at all on the piping, so my concern may be unwarranted.

Much more comfortable seat than original BMW seat
Seat design and fit is excellent. The tool and extra document compartments under the seat are great. Materials and workmanship appear excellent. Durability is too early to tell.
My time riding will now increase greatly due to improved comfort.....and ride enjoyment is enhanced. The most comfortable seat I've ever ridden on was the stock seat on my Suzuki 650 Vstrom....if this seat equals that it will make me very happy.. While not inexpensive the extra comfort is worth the price.

flat & supportive
Was looking for a seat that wasn't dished out so I could move forward or back as needed. Also one that didn't tip forward and shove my tender bits into the fuel tank like the stock seat did. This one fit the bill on both counts! I tried 4 other designs by leading aftermarket suppliers before finding this Sargent - I'm glad I kept looking!

Much better than stock, good for long rides
The first weekend I had it, I put 1000kms on my Sargent Enduro on my BMW F650GS (twin). With a sheepskin pad I was able to ride all day in relative comfort. I was more comfortable than my Dad on his Multistrada with stock seat and sheepskin. Normally I'm uncomfortable long before he is.
I've nocked it one point for durability because the vinyl scuffs if your boots hit it while throwing a leg over (the install instructions basically tell you to baby it to ensure it never scuffs). I've got one or two minor scuffs on my seat within the first two weeks, so I don't expect this to look 'brand new' for as long as other seats might.

Sargent Seat for BMW f650gs
My stock BMW seat made me go numb in all the wrong places after 30 minutes of riding so I decided I would try the Sargent. Fit and finish on the Sargent is top quality, and I really like the materials they used for the seat. The issue I still have is the seat bucket tends to push me forward - it just isn't soft enough. So, during long rides, I find myself scooting back trying to move away from the "hump" where the seat turns up. I would love it if Sargent made the bucket a little bigger and a lot softer.
