I wish I had bought this a long time ago. I purchased the low version for my R1150RT. My wife was having issues with her back and hips with the stock pillion seat. With the stock seat I could put my feet flat with the suspension set for solo, but just barely. We were impressed with the quality and appearance of the seat. It really dresses up the bike! It performs just as good as it looks! My wife can ride longer and isn't in pain when she gets off the bike. My feet can be planted well enough for increased stability when stopped. With both like the wider and more ergonomic platforms. Our butts don't get as tired as quick! September 12, 2012

I ride the rare 2005 R1150RT. From my understanding its basically the same as the '04 model which was replaced that year by the R1200RT but before i invest in an aftermarket seat i wanna be sure of the fit. Can u confirm if this seat will also fit the '05 model? Thanks, Matt P.
