The Saddlemen R1300LXE Delux Roll Bag was purchased because they claimed that the zippers were lockable.... Well these zippers have loops to put a tiny lock through them, but are made from such thin metal that regular nail clippers can cut through them....
The top opening lid is very awkward. The bag is roomy, but tough to get stuff into it. Overall its ok for the money it costs, but I would not have bought it had I seen it in person prior to the sale.

Very nice bag. Attractive looking and sturdy as well. It actually had more room then i expected with the extra 5 inches after you unzip it. Alot for your money.

if your wanting to leave the bag on this one isnt big enough to be ugly .but has enough size to hold he wifes pocket book and the extra sweatshirt for the ride home at night.

I did a lot of research before ordering this Saddleman roll bag. I was not disappointed with my choice. Like most motorcycle riders I want a certain look for my bike. I ride a 1979 Suzuki GS850 and it has a cafe racer look. I wanted something to go with that. This bag has a classic design that will work with a lot of cruiser bikes.
It's very well made and has a rigid material under the black fabric that keeps it's roll shape. Nice side pockets that simply extend the roll form, and it can be extended several inches by unzipping one or two of the extendable ends.
I don't have a sissy bar on my bike, but i do have a small carrier which made a firm attachment fairly easy with the provided straps. It can be remove easily too. The bag has plenty of room for carrying everything I need for a day.

Straps were a little tricky to attach, but overall, it is a great product! I especially like how much more convenient it is compared to the saddle bags I also have.

I have looked for bags for awhile that would look good on my vtx. This is the one. not to small and not to big. Rain gear and extras fit in it nice. It hasn't been in the rain yet, so I can't rate that part.
