The Gel Channel line of seats for sport bikes are designed specifically for the rider that needs a seat that can do everything—canyon carving, track days, or commuting. Features Saddlemen’s Gel Channel (GC) technology (patent pending) that incorporates a split piece of SaddleGel and a channel in the base foam to relieve seating pressure on the perineal area, increase blood flow, and keep the rider in the saddle longer. Saddlemen sport bike seats offer high quality, light weight construction and styling that’s second-to-none.
The “Tech” style series incorporates high-quality, flexible fabric top covers that breathe well and are textured to allow the body to move on the seat for aggressive maneuvering. Just under the top cover is a layer of memory foam that contours to the shape of the rider’s body with additional memory foam in areas strategically positioned for maximum comfort.
Many Gel Channel solo seats come with a matching pillion cover for a unified look.

Christopher R: Needed something more comfortable than the stock seat for the 2 hour commute between home and collegeFeb 22, 2014
Edwin R: I can't reach the ground comfortably. Hopefully, this seat will amend this issue. Thanks.Aug 17, 2013
Christopher R asked:Hey there! I need to replace the stock seat on my CBR250R with one that's more comfortable for long trips (~2hrs) and this looks like the most comfortable one. Firstly, I want to know if I'm correct about that. Secondly I'd like to know, what is the difference between ordering a "low height" option versus a "standard height" option? Thanks for your help!Sep 9, 2013
Rodrigo J:Hi, the seat is great. My legs and feet would go numb before I switched to this seat. Also the seat memory foam instantly molds to you and allows your body to set into it. It actually makes you feel more secure when riding which is something I didn't expect. I was bouncing around over bumps with the stock seat. The low height is lower than the stock seat, but I only notice it to the front of the seat because it exposes some scratch marks left by the front of the original seat on the lower part of the gas tank, where they meet. I do not notice a difference in standing height however. It will not make you feel like you can touch the ground better, if you are short. Maybe it gives you a quarter inch. But it must be lower than the standard height version, which may be higher than stock.Sep 18, 2013
vincent k:hello christopher, i bought the saddle same as shown on the picture for my Kawasaki zx10r and it is softer and looks very nice too, better than stock seat and also absorbing better the shocks from the road. i don't know the difference between heigh and low, maybe you can ask the supplier. good luck and have a nice relaxed motortripSep 19, 2013
Will L:The tech seat's not too bad. My bum still get sore in longer rides, just not as much or as quick. Also allows to the move around easier in the twisties. It's worth the money, but I can't help you with he seat height sorry.Sep 18, 2013
I bought one for my 07 CBR1000. Very comfortable compared to original seat. The new seat is maybe a few mm lower but not noticeable. Felt the same in regards to height. I highly recommend this replacement seat if you spend very much time riding. Very high quality construction and finish. Not as slippery and as easy to slide around on compared to original but comfort factor more than makes up for it. Hope this helps you.Feb 3, 2014
