The Saddlemen Gel-Channel Sport Seat is designed specifically for sport riders that need a seat that can do everything—canyon carving, track days, or commuting. Features Saddlemen’s Gel Channel (GC) technology (patent pending) that incorporates a split piece of SaddleGel and a channel in the base foam to relieve seating pressure on the perineal area, increase blood flow, and keep the rider in the saddle longer. Saddlemen sport bike seats offer high quality, light weight construction and styling that’s second-to-none.
Black-on-black, easy-to-clean SaddleSuede material covers the entire top portion of the seat with a matching strip in center of the Gel Channel (GC)
A matching black suede covers the center strip and places the Gel Channel technology front-and-center as a major styling point
More comfortable than any stock seat on the market, but there’s no question it’s a custom, hand built seat designed to match the characteristics of your specific motorcycle
Driver’s seat height mimics the original seat, but with a wider rear saddle section for comfort plus a specially shaped nose that helps the rider’s feet touch the ground better at stops
In most cases the pitch of the seat’s foam is revised to eliminate the rider from being forced into the fuel tank while riding
Slightly bucketed in the rear section to contour to the rider’s body for better control during aggressive riding
Each SPORT seat is supplied with a pillion cover you can install on your bike’s passenger seat that matches your new front seat
Easy to install, bolts to your bike just like the stock seat
Even easier to keep clean, water wipes away from center GEL channel: dries in minutes
Custom colors and other modifications available, just contact Saddlemen

Think twice about this one...
So after opening the box and removing the grommets from my old seat as the new one had none (which would have been ok had the new seat lined up perfectly without grommets...but it didn't).. so I snapped out my old grommets only to find out they wouldn't fit. The holes are way too small for the old grommets to fit. Bad mark one against this seat. Secondly since they didn't fit the factory screws being perched in a weird position normally made it all the more difficult to even get the darn things to line up with the holes in the frame. After fiddling with it about twenty minutes I finally got them both in, frustrated there was so much play at first, they cinched down ok (but I don't trust them) and I didn't want to over tighten as the seat would have snapped like my old seat did when trying to get the old grommets out. Bad mark two and three or more... now I can't even put my old seat back on because it's busted. So now that it's on the bike I sit on it. let's just say it's like caviar..an acquired taste... I'm not happy with how much it moves underneath me even at a standstill. It's like you're sitting on two pieces of jello...not gel. Finish is superb as it should be for a 250$ seat but it's just not for my butt. I'll be looking to sell this off to some unsuspecting chap at my earliest convenience and going with a different sport seat. Don't recommend this unless you plan on sitting in a bowl of jello after you've cussed out the maker for a half hour while trying desperately to get the darn holes to line up. Hope and pray that you never have to take it off for any reason and you'll be fine..but that's not the case either...
