1,500 Mile Test
I bought this and installed it on the morning of a 1,500 round trip journey over 5 days. I fit beautifully, snapping into place. I bought the low version and it had a 1" adjustment inside to make it lower. I recommend the two pieces as they match and the stitching looks great. After riding 1,500 miles through Wyoming, Colorado and to Moab, Utah I have no complaints. This seat is fantastic! I recommend it right out of the box. No break in needed. It also went through a snow/slush storm in Vail Pass. It still looks brand new.

Great Seat for the first gen Strom
I ordered this after looking around for several seats for my 2011 650 Strom. Overall I'm very happy with the seat. Here are some quick points.
1. Much higher than the stock 650 seat. About 1-1.5 inches higher so you are off the pegs more. I think this really helps with the comfort on a long ride.
2. The seat cover is really nice and soft but feels like it will be durable as well.
3. It's much flatter and a touch wider than the stock 650 seat. This allows you to move around a good bit more. You are not locked into one position like the stock seat. It also doesn't push you into the tank.
4. The integrated tie downs are a nice feature.
5. It fit the bike nicely. I didn't think that any of the gaps were off and it looks really good on the bike.
6. The back of the driver area is now angled and is much more comfortable.

Brett R asked:Hello All, I'm just under 5'11" with a 31-32" inseam and I'm trying to decide if I would be more comfortable with the standard or low height. What do ya'll think? Plus, I'd like to know how it rides off-road. And finally, does it fit with the OEM pillon? Thanks for your help.Jun 5, 2014
nicolas j asked:Hi, I would like to know if the height of these seats (saddlemen in general and yhis one in particular) is exactly the same as OEM height or just a bit smaller? Thank you for the answer.Nov 25, 2013
Tom G:The height is a little higher overall. The slope from back to front is definitely less than the factory's & the outcome is you don't feel like you are being driven into your fuel tank. The seat is also a little wider from the mid section to he front making the overall ride more comfortable.Nov 26, 2013
William C:The seat appears to be the same height as stock. I have about a 1000 miles on the seat and would say the seat so far is more comfortable than the stock seat. The seat is firm but I am not sliding forward as the stock seat does. Overall I am happy with the seat.Nov 30, 2013
Alonso R:Seat is higher than OEM and this makes it more comfortable. Shape is different, as it is kind of wider in the back and more narrow in the front. God materials in general and very comfortable too.Nov 25, 2013
