Almost perfect
Looked at many different gloves and watched multiple video reviews (very helpful) and decided to spend the money for a really high quaity pair. After all, it's something you use for years, day in day out. The Rukka Apollo gloves are very well made; with fine stitching, excellent protection and superb feel for the bars. The pre-curved fingers and goatskin leather combine for a really nice grip which above all was what I was looking for. I've found them to be warm to about 45 degrees but as yet have not had to test the Goretex liner.
My winter gloves are Firstgear TPG's in a size large that fit just about right, though the finger length is a bit long. The Rukka gloves in size 10 are definitely slimmer and the finger length is a little shorter, which I like. If you are on the upper reaches of a large or thick fingered I would think the size 11 would be best. The opening at the base of the hand is smaller which makes them a bit harder to pull on or off though they have already softened up after about 800 miles of riding and will likely continue to give a bit. I expect that after a few more months these will fit perfectly. The one true design flaw is that the wrist strap is too short and would come out of the metal ring each time I pulled the gloves on. It's a real pain to have to thread the strap through each time, especially when you have to do the second one with a gloved hand. I managed to solve the problem with a little velcro on each pull tab that serves as a stop and keeps the strap from pulling through. Had I not solved this I would have had to send them back. Great looking, great feel, well made gloves
Let's start out with the sizing. I ordered a pair of size 8 and guess what... I had to return them.. Sorry Revz... Was having a really hard time putting them on ..I did get the left hand on ..super super tight... I think I am a size 9 but unfortunately, they are out of stock until April .. REvz staff was very helpful....

I measured my hand. 8.25 around ..... I tried my friends rev it roadstar GTX in medium... Perfect !.. I'm a large in AStar apex drystar, dainese 4 stroke and carbon cover I'm a medium.... So I guess I will be a 9 in rukka

These gloves look great. Very good quality. Very good protection. Wish the palm were a but beefier with maybe another layer of goat. The palm slider was HUGH ! ... Not sure I liked it...sure not everyone s cup of tea. Great stretch everywhere ...had I got the right I would love them

GTX Xtrafit is one of the greatest thing since cupcakes...... You don't feel it at all... Great grip feel... No thermal in these gloves.... late spring, summer, early fall..... Heated grips will stretch them out. By the way I'm in NYC ..... Coldddd winters....I hate it .....

Price is steep but your hands are way more expensive than your gloves ..... Ride with the best protection you can afford and ride safe !!!....... My friend went to REvzilla headquarter and picked up the Merlin jacket..he is crazy and I am envy

Great Gloves
Excellent Gloves. Perfect fit, excellent protection. They don't flow any air, but they don't flow any water either. 100% water proof. They are very durable, I've had mine over a year and a half now, but they do fade pretty bad. I imagine that depends on your riding, but I ride all the time rain or shine 9-10mo. out of the year. The fading is only from the reflective stripe on the back of the hand to the cuff. Probably sun fading when you think about it. I imagine you can prevent this by treating the leather with any off the shelf protectant though.

Poor design
Although the glove is very well made, the wrist strap is poorly designed and frustrating in use. Every time you take off the glove the strap need to be re threaded through the loop hole. It's just not well thought out.
I have a Ruuka jacket and it's one of the best made and all around Best jackets I've ever owned.
They need to think more about their gloves.

great gloves
Very happy with this purchase. Am a size 9 in Revit, hand circumference 8.4 inch hence bordering on size 10 but ordered a 9 and they fit great - a bit snug, but after breaking in they will be just perfect. Rode them in 10C and my hands got cold after an hour - they are definitely meant for 15C and above I'd think. Not had a chance to test waterproofness yet. As for protection I'd comfortably wear these at highway speeds, feel like they will protect well should the worst happen. Thanks Revzilla for the great reviews.

Love them so far
So far I love these gloves! I measured my hand as described and ordered the size accordingly and the fit is great. The fingers are just a bit long but not by much. They are quite comfortable, and were waterproof in the one ride I've had in the rain so far, it wasn't raining hard, but they did fine.

Excellent 3-season Glove
Got these gloves to replace my BMW gloves, which have been fading in the sun (I was on my 3rd pair - BMW replaced the first one, I just purchased a new pair after that one faded.)

My BMW gloves were a size 9, and (after break-in) were a bit on the 'loose' side. The Apollo pair is also a size 9 and a bit on the snug side out of the box - not uncomfortable, but definitely much more snug than the BMWs. I am sure they'll loosen up a bit with wear, and should fit very well at that time.

As for the top strap, yes it is a bit short, and come come out of its guide if not careful. By changing the way I put the gloves on, I manage to keep it threaded now, so that is not a problem for me.

The hard protections are really nicely done. Hope I'll never need it, but good to have it if it ever became necessary.

I definitely can recommend these gloves.

Nice Gloves
I typically wear an XL but needed an 11 in this Rukka. Not as flexible as summer gloves, but that's to be expected. Wrist closure could be a 1/4" longer but not a problem coming out of strap holder. Wrist closure really helps to keep glove on. Can't wait to see how cold they will go here in Florida.

On the video review Anthony said that he wears normally a size large on icon gloves and he was wearing a rukka glove size 10, i saw the size chart and took my hand measurement and i should chose a glove size 11 but
i have my icon glove size medium and they fit perfect in this case what size would be the correct should i choose a size 9 or a size 11?
Juan Carlos V on Apr 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Juan Carlos. If you measured over 8.75" you should definitely order the size 11. My hand measures 8.75" and my size ten gloves are quite snug. It takes a bit of effort to get them on and off. It thought that since they are leather that the would stretch out over time but that doesn't seem to be the case, probably because off the direct attachment off the Gore-tex liner to the leather.
That said, the gloves are absolutely beautiful, with excellent feel for the grips. Very sharp appearance, nicely amored, well stitched. You'll be happy.
