Gregory G: I recently had a low side crash during a track day and came to really appreciate the value of really good riding gear. Had I not been wearing great gear I would have been seriously injured. Rukka seems to make really high tech gear. I've got great cool weather gear but nothing all that great for summer riding in the south where it approaches 100 degrees. Hopefully the fit will be good!May 16, 2014
Brian S: Price couldn't be beat on such a high-end 3-season jacket. Blows everything else away at the "closeout" price.Mar 5, 2014
Sebastien L: Closeout price is hard to beat for a Rukka Jacket!Jan 17, 2014
Michael A asked:I am really intrigued by this jacket because of the safety features, one being the actual material of the jacket. Is it that much better than other mesh jackets or textile jackets made of "Carbolex" or other materials not named Cordura or Kevlar? I keep hearing how much better Cordura is than these other materials, but not many manufacturers use it. $500 seems like a lot for a jacket, but my safety is more important. Also, for sizing I read some people say go down one size. Is this accurate? I measure about 39" chest. Would a 48 or 50 be better? Thank you.Mar 12, 2014
Vanja V:Hello. It is that much better then the inferior brands. I have owned several textile jackets and this one is far superior in terms of feel and safety . The materials are far better and the jacket feels nice when you are wearing it. It oozes quality. Armour also feels much more enveloping on the shoulders especially . It also looks great ! About the sizing . Yes you should go down one size . I should be 60 or 62 and i ordered 58 and fits me great. Snug but it should be snug. If you are wearing something like forcefield back pro back protector and chest protector then you might want a size bigger. I managed to put them on but then it was tight. Hope this helps.Mar 14, 2014
Genady L:I am just over 40" and returned my size 48, it was too small. I would certainly try 50 at least for you.
As far as better or worse, don't know haven't used this jacket outdoor. My biggest concern would be a black color - no matter how much air can it flow at speed, I think you going to be cooking in traffic in a summer time.
As for myself, I am waiting for new Klim mesh jacket to arrive. It is cheaper, made with Cordura and proprietary super strong mesh and includes latest D3O armor, unlike Rukka...Mar 14, 2014
Stephen T:I am not sure i can accurately compare, but i can say that i hunted a long time for the right textile jacket. And this does seem to blow all the others away. SPecifically for the construction, lightweight and breathable. Regarding size, I have a 41 inch chest and I went with the 50, which is quite snug on me. The main reason i dropped to the 50 was because the arm length was too long on the next biggest. Hope this helps.Mar 14, 2014
JOHN R:I would say the other guys answered your questions well! I love this jacket and It really is a quality piece. I am a 38 inch chest and a small waist and I bought the 48. It fits me perfect!Apr 1, 2014
