Rox 2" Pivot Risers for 1 1/8" Handlebars

These Rox Risers feature a 2" center to center rise and are very popular for the KTM 690 Enduro, Triumph Tiger 800XC, BMW R1200 GS and GSA owners. They will mount on essentially any machine that has a handlebar that measures 1 1/8" at the bar clamps, has an open mounting area, and has enough cable slack to accommodate the additional rise.

Features:

  • 2" Rise x 1 1/8" Stem Clamp x 1 1/8" Handlebar
  • Can be pivoted to desire fore and aft location for ideal riding position
  • CNC machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum
  • Made in the USA

Great product / Easy to install
The item was shipped fast and it was nice to see something packed well.
I recently purchased a Tiger 800 XCX and it's ready to go as is. But as always there are things that need fine tuning to make it your own. I'm not tall and do not have a long reach and I noticed that I had to lean forward some on the bike when sitting or standing, which would get a little uncomfortable after a few hours. I needed some risers to bring the bars up and back a little. I did my usual 1 month of research (yes, I've got issues). During this I found the Rox Risers, liked what I read and decided to give them a try. They were very easy to install and I was able to get the adjustment to my liking. I didn't have to change the cables or wires because of a change in length. Overall, they are built solid and the finish is nice. I can't comment on the durability, I only had them for 3 months. Yes, I do recommend them. FYI, there is a Youtube video on these buy "Muddysump" that's informative and easy to follow. No, I don't have any affiliation with the person who makes these Youtube videos.

Great Product
These were easy to install and it made my riding position more comfortable. The product could be improved by making the clamping surfaces rough for improved grip. You may want to sand the surfaces prior to install.

Great Risers, Great Quality
Need to re position the bars a bit and these did the trick.

The finish blends well with the stock bars and powder-coating.

Easy to install, took less than 10 minutes and no reworking of the cables and wires was needed on my 2014 Triumph Tiger 800.

Great Risers
These are great riser and the price is great for the quality. I got these to rise slightly, but mostly to move the handlebars backwards. These were perfect and adjustable, so I was able to find the sweet spot to mount them.

Does what it is supposed to and better than the rest
The risers perform the job they are intended to. Seem to be durable enough to take offroad hits.

The pivoting design is a huge plus. It's very convenient to roll the bars exactly where you want them. Other designs often force the bars toward your torso and are not adjustable.

The option for standard and fat bars is a huge bonus. No need to spend an extra $30 on adaptors.

The one problem that I foresee is the potential for the bars to roll back and forth in their mounts during impact. This is due to the lack of grooves at the mount points. So far this has not been an issue for me, but then again I haven't crashed very hard yet.

I ended up not using risers. The way it changed my riding position I felt took away from proformance in curves and made a bit more awkward. Plus unnecisery in off road riding. I put them back on for a longer road trip, but ended up taking them off after the first day.

Celio B on May 20, 2015
These are high quality risers! I installed them on my new FJ-09 to bring the handlebars a bit closer to me. However, beware you'll need to remove several zip ties and other connectors to loosen up the cables to give yourself enough slack to use these. My clutch cable is still a bit "snug" and I need to install a longer cable here.

Will this fit my bike? (assuming cable length is ok) - - I have 2012 triumph speed triple..
Do you have to tilt thru risers front and back to gain access to Allen screws? How do you tighten the new riser ? The threaded hole in the center of the male stem that rests in the old risers? Thanks dan
A shopper on Jul 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Not sure about fitting your speedy but as far as tightening the Allen screws I just snug the rear bolts on the original clamps and adjust the bars to my liking and then tighten the front bolts to spec. This is how I did it on a 2011 Tiger 800.
WILL THIS WORK ON A 2013 BMW R1200R?

What is the thread pattern in the part that fits the original clamps? Will this fit a RAM ball ?
Christopher J on Sep 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Christopher,

I'm not sure what the thread size is for the 4 - Allen head screws that come with the Rox Risers, they use a 6mm Allen wrench. The only RAM balls I have used were fitted for a U-bolt mount, so I don't have a RAM ball thread to compare it to. Even if they were the same size, I'm not sure I would want to trust a RAM ball thread to clamp handlebars in place.

I have a RAM ball mounted with U-bolt right next to my Rox Risers, may not be quite as sano as what you apparently have in mind, but I'm confident with my handlebar mounts! Sorry I can't be of more help.

Cheers,

Bobby
Will these ROX Risers work on the new Triumph Tiger XCX 800????
A shopper on Sep 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will work with no problems. May have to do some minor cable adjustment is all. If you stand a lot you will love the extra handlebar height!
I have a 2014 Tiger 800 ABS. Will these risers work on my bike?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They worked well for me. A bit of a pain to get them straight but have no problem since installing them. There is no way I could stand on the bike with the handle bars in the stock position. I have actually ridden over mountain passes with them and standing is necessary.
Will these risers fit a 2013 BMW R1200R? Also are brake and clutch cables long enough?
A shopper on Jun 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't know about the 1200R, but on the 800 GS I had to reverse the front brake line to make it work, tip found on advrider , you may want to check there and see if anyone has bought them for a 1200R.
Will these work on a 2016 Lowrider (not the S)?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't believe Harleys have 1-1/8" handlebars. Should be 7/8".
Otherwise, a great product.
Will this fit a 2016 beta xtrainer?
Kurt K on Mar 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: As long as it's a 1 1/8" bars on the bike ,it should fit. Just find out what size diameter bar on the bike. 7/8 " or 1 1/8". If it's 7/8" you will have to get the 7/8" riser.
What is the finish on the black and the machined aluminum risers - matte, satin or shiny? Trying to match to the stock steel clamps on my 2005 speed triple 1050, or the matte black bars. I have an sw-motech riser that is a mis-match, looks like the clear anodized finish above.
Surya G on Dec 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Surya. Mine are the finished aluminum ones and they are indeed on the shiny side, certainly shinier than the stock satin ones on my R1200GSA.
will this fit a 2015 yamaha fj-09 without cable replacement?
