Awesome bars
So i just finished these on my 2016 street bob. They are awesome bars. I did not need to replace cables or lines. Running the wiring was the only tough part. But I tied a shoe lace at the connector and ran it through the bars and gently pulled the wiring through. It was a little tough but worth the work.

Solid bars, great look
Put on a 2015 48. Looks amazing. Gives a more comfortable riding height without being an ape hanger.

BEST ANSWER: hydraulic
I'm going from stock bars to the short stack on my 2004 sportster. will I need to replace the cables, or will the stock cables work?
A shopper on Jan 7, 2016
Would the cables have to be replaced on a 14 fxsb breakout (not cvo) if using these bars?
A shopper on Apr 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I put these on my Blackline (similar to Breakout with the low stock bars) I didn't replace cables. They reached far enough. I did have to add length to the wiring though. I also removed the anchor for front brake line on the upper clamp to allow the line to "stretch" far enough. Hope that helps.
WILL THE SHORT STACK FIT ON MY 48 2014 SPORTSTER AND DO I NEED CABLE EXTENSIONS?
A shopper on Oct 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have these on on my 2012 '72 and they fit fine. You will have to get the wiring extension kit though. I don't have mine ran through the bars just for that reason. I'm lazy and I don't like messing with electrical issues. I personally don't think it looks bad.
How will roland sand short stack work with hd crossbones?
A S on Oct 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Well, I have a 2012 seventy-two and I think they look great. But on a crossbones they might look too small. That's just my opinion though. I suggest you google some pics. If you want I can send you a couple pics of mine and you might be able to gauge it from there.
