A collaboration between RSD and Vance and Hines brings you high performance exhaust in a light weight gloss carbon and satin black finish called Carbon Ops. They've stripped their newest exhaust system to only the necessary elements, dipped it in Black Ceramic for a tough finish and added a slash cut carbon and stainless tip for style points as well as performance. The Works finish is an all-raw stainless steel exhaust with a carbon-fiber end cap. RSD has thoughtfully tucked the system up tight to the bike for ground clearance allowing usage of standard sporty mid-controls and rear sets.
1.75” to 2.0” stepped header tubes
Heat shields for rear cylinder and collector

Roland Sands Slant 2-Into-1 Exhaust For Harley Sportster 2004-2013
Nice product, good fit and features
Quick delivery. Pars in good condition. Install was easy. It took me about 3 hours starting with the removal of my old system. Install instructions were easy to follow. They are a bit loud for my taste but I will fix that with the optional baffle. All in all I am a ver happy customer with a very cool looking and happy Sportster.

Makes you tingly in all the right places
I wanted a throatier sound from the stock exhaust that was on my 883 Iron. Took a shot with this Roland Sands and I've got to say that I couldn't be happier. Revzilla shipped and delivered it super fast.
The hardest part was getting the circlips from the old pipes onto the new ones and getting the flanges bolted to the headers.
Pro-Tip: Use Loctite on the bolts that mount the exhaust as mine fell out because i didn't have the clearance to tighten them enough.
tl;dr - Great buy, take your time installing, be prepared for a pant wetting experience.

Great Looks Great Sound
Very simple to install using common tools you probably already have in your garage. Installation took about two hours, taking my time and being careful not to scratch the exhaust's finish.
The end result looks AWESOME and the idle sound has a nice sound to it, especially after the engine warms up a little.
I had short pipes on the bike before and these are definitely more neighborhood friendly. But find an open stretch of road, open up the throttle and unleash that powerful, deep, punchy, growl. I also have to say that acceleration at highway speeds has improved over my short pipes as well!
The one thing I must mention is that the O2 sensor ports are located in front of the cylinder heads and will expose your O2 sensors for all to see (something you don't see in any advertising material.) Not a big issue with me, but if you are particular about keeping your sensors hidden, then you may want to consider this before purchase.
Overall, a great upgrade to your ride. And RevZilla seems to have the best deal going on these.

John M: great looks and great improvement to performanceJun 13, 2014
Christopher E asked:Does this really fit a 2014 Sportster? I know that most systems for 2013 Sportsters will not fit 2014 models such as my new Iron because of a small change in this year's model's exhaust.Feb 23, 2014
Doug D:Only a dealer can answer the question about fit. Mine were installed on a 2007 Sportster.I can tell you that these pipes sound good and perform excellent. The power difference was very noticeable. I would by them again. You will get attention in a crowd.Apr 25, 2014
