Roland Sands CE Armor - Elbow
Perfect for RS Ronin Jacket
These inserts are just what you need for the RS Ronin jacket. Great protection, but you're paying for it.

I'll never take them out the jacket
I bought the back, shoulder and elbow armors separately as the pack was out of stock.
Im glad I did, as I had an a* set of protections from a Brass jacket and though of using them with my RSD Ronin jacket, but these have a slimmer profile, which make the jacket look utterly awesome and not moto at all when off the bike.
Really flexible and comfortable, I hope I never get to test the Forcefield technology behind the previously mentioned benefits.

Pain to get in, but good once it's situated
These are not as good as the armor that came in my alpine stars jacket, but I'm glad I got them. because of the shape of them, these are a pain in the butt to get in the armor pocket, but once they're in, and have had a moment to get situated they're barely noticeable (in a good way)
I hope I never have to test out how well they protect, but anything is better than nothing!

Great armor for the price
Armor fit great in the elbow pockets and after wearing the jacket for a while, they gradually formed to the elbow. They are comfortable. The shoulder armor did not fit well in the pockets of my jacket but I think that is a fault of the jacket rather than the pads. The pockets of my jacket seem to move around, letting the pads fall behind my shoulder rather than stay in position. But that's the jacket and not the pads.

Good so far
It's my first jacket/armor purchase(roland sands ronin), so I don't really have anything to compare it to. It fits well, is a little adjustable, very flexible and I usually barely notice it unless I'm thinking about it. Haven't had to use it yet (thankfully), but it feels like it would provide reasonable cushioning. It does work well with people playfully punching me to test it out though :)
The elbow in particular kinda fits weird because I can't tell if my elbow should be cradled in the armor, or if going below is ok. I have more flexibility when using the latter method, but can adjust either way. When riding, it sits perfectly.

Seems good to me
I have all three of these pads in my Roland Sands Vandal jacket(back, shoulders, and elbows). They are easy to install and fit nicely in the pockets. These elbow pads are the only ones that don't fit perfectly on me. They twist a little in the pocket and are a little low on my arms extending down to my forearm a little. I think it's more of an issue of the jacket being made for longer arms than mine. I will say due to the generous size of these elbow pads they still fully cover my elbows. Also after I put the jacket on and adjust the elbow pads they don't want to twist any further. I have not tested these pads in the sense of falling off my bike (knock on wood), but they do provide me with some peace of mind and seem like they would provide some protection.

much better than hard plastic armor
good deal for soft armor made by ForceField! Fits well in all my jackets. More comfortable than hard plastic. Don't even notice it while riding.

For me these protection are very tight. I chose the jacket to be a little closer to the body and because of this the protection bothers me.
