River Road Norther Gloves
Comfortable & Warm
I have a hard time finding gloves because my hands are between a medium and large. I was happy that they fit perfectly especially with my hands wrapped around the throttle.

Great glove for cool weather
I've ridden with these a few times now in around 40 degree weather and they kept my hands nice and warm. Very comfortable and the fleece didn't interfere with my dexterity. Great buy for the money they cost.

low quality and poor fit
This was the only product I have every purchased from Revzilla that completely disappointed me. The fit was terrible. The fingers were short and too narrow while the palm was large and loose. Also the finish along the seams was poor with "dog ear" tags of leather at the edges. The finger shapes between the right and left gloves were not close to similar. The left thumb was shaped more narrow and longer that the right thumb. I even tried another pair to make sure I was not simply unlucky and received a poorly made pair of gloves. No, the second pair was just as poorly shaped and finished as the first.

Good value, was what I expected
I purchased these gloves because my experience with Thinsulate linings has been very favorable. I also didn't want big bulky gloves, so these fit the bill. They are good down to 40 degrees. Delivery was on time.

I bought these gloves for winter and they were warm even in single digit degree days except if I went over 40mph. When riding over 40mph, my front fingers did feel cold where all the wind was hitting. I did lay my bike down once while where these gloves and they slid well along with giving good cushion.

Don't waste your money
I bought the large size at first. I used the size chart to make my decision. The gloves arrived and were too tight, I paid to send them back and reordered the XL size. They arrived and were just as tight , the only difference was the fingers were a lot longer. I wasn't going to pay to return them again so I wore them one morning on the ride to work and they gave no protection in the cold. To sum up I wore them once, they're sitting in a drawer and I'm out $$$$. A waste of money.

I ended up returning these because the sizing was weird for me. I usually wear an xl, but with these the middle finger was too short, so when I flexed my hand it put too much pressure on the glove. They were already bulky, so I was afraid up sizing for the correct finger length would make the glove way too wide and bulky, so I'll keep searching for an ideal fit. Also, I wasn't impressed with the build quality, the leather had a couple markings in it and some of the seams seemed poorly stitched up. I guess for the price you can't complain much. They did seem like they would be warm though, so I'll give them a good bang for the buck rating if you can find the right fit.

Good for Cold Weather
I recently used these gloves to go from NJ to Boston in temperatures that dipped as low as about 38F. I wouldn't say that my hands were particularly warm by the time it was all said and done, but the performance for a non-heated glove was fantastic and I never felt like I was losing feeling to my hands which is about as much as I was asking of this glove.
My only complaint and the reason for only a four-star review is that the fingers are very oddly-shaped. The thumb is too long and narrow and a bit uncomfortable while the rest of the fingers seem to fit just fine. I guess the designer had weird thumbs?
