Excellent Product Fits great, looks great, 100% buffalo leather adjustable straps for wearing sweaters or if your fat, and a Gun Pocket that is all April 28, 2015
Wellworth the savings This is a great vest for your MC cuts. I was torn between this and the Icon. I went with this for the savings and I am very happy with it. It fits true to size. I cant wait to add my colors to it. April 10, 2015
Excellent Style & Comfort My eye had been on this vest for a while, but when it went on sale, I couldn't resist the impulse purchase urge. This is a great vest in full grain buffalo leather. The quality of construction is excellent. It fits true to size for an average build (I wear a size small, and I am 5'-5" at 155 lbs). The lining feels great, and the inside zippered back panel of the lining allows the application of your colors with ease. I wear a fully armored motard jacket underneath my vest, and it fits perfectly over it. And even when I just wear the vest over a t-shirt, it still looks great and is not large at all. The inside front pockets are useful, but the two built-in elastic straps for the holster pocket is really a waste, since you cannot "quickdraw" your firearm when using the elastic straps. Also, the concealed carry pocket is for right-handed folks only. It'd be better to use your own holster like a Galco in the pocket. This vest has an "edgier" style versus the traditional biker look. At the sub $100 price range, you get a similar look to the Icon Regulator Stripped Vest but without the Icon price. March 31, 2015
Awesome but short! I just got this vest in and will have to send it back. I am 6'1", 235lbs and athletic...this vest is about 2" too short even in an XL. All my shirts look like dresses with this vest on unless I tuck them in so if you have a long torso (or even if you have a slightly longer than normal torso) you may need to look at a different vest. Sucks because this vest is zipper front, has gun pockets, and has the zippered back to simplify sewing on patches. All around great vest, just too short. With regard to sizing, whatever size shirt you wear, go with the same size in this vest. People say it runs large but they must have the velcro straps pretty far out (which looks silly) or be skinny. If you want he straps to look decent, get your normal size. January 12, 2015
Excellent vest Fit perfectly. Very comfortable. The inner pockets have plenty of space. December 17, 2014
Love it! I'll admit I had never heard of River Road, but saw this item on sale and watched the product review video. The holster pocket is a nice touch, but like others have said, the elastic is difficult to use. I've had several patches sewn on and my MC colors look great on it. Be warned that it cannot accommodate a side rocker patch. Love it though. November 15, 2013
Great vest for the price Got my vest a Lil while ago. And I must say I love it. Got because I'm joining a MC and needed a quality cut. My only disappointment was that the holster. The holster has to elastic bands in the inside that's suppose to the holster. It's pretty difficult to holster and unholster a firearm. But I personally just slide the firearm into the pocket without using the bands it's deep enough to hold it in place. September 2, 2013
Great overall vest great design, thick leather, easily adjusts, very comfortable August 5, 2013

Kern H:

I would believe if your going to wear a jacket underneath you should go wit a large. I have 42" chest and about 200lbs. And a Med fits me well with a little room

Marshall M: I would definitely go with a large. I tried an XL first and it was too snug. Returned the vest and exchanged it for a 2XL. Fits well. No hassle return/exchange! Aug 7, 2014

Scott H asked: Is the left side holster pocket quality for a CCW? Will it fit a full size or compact only? Mar 18, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
mark e: The left side holster pocket holds my XDM .45 with ease. Smaller mag fits best but will fit full size clip too just a little bulky in the chest area. Jacket is comfortable and made out of quality leather. Mar 18, 2015

Juan C: Hello Scott
I believe it qualify for the CCW. And for the holster I carry a sub compact and it fits pretty good and I also believe a full size will fit too it just depends on the caliber it will be too heavy . Hopes this helps a lot ,,

Thanks

John C asked: I am 6'1" and about 285lb. I've owned a River Road Jacket for about 2 years and love it. Will the sizing be about the same? My jacket is a 3XL. I don't plan on wearing the vest over the jacket, but I might. Should I go a little bigger (4XL) if available, or will the adjustable sides help with the transition? Dec 30, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Blake W: Adjustable sides will help but if you have a longer torso, this is going to be pretty short. I'm 6'1", 235lbs and athletic....about 2" short on my frame so it makes my flannel shirts look like dresses. Otherwise this is a badass vest. Jan 12, 2015

Brad W: Hi John, I wear generally XL and have a muscular body, the 6 adjustments (3 on each side) allow me to adjust mine to accommodate my upper body. Feb 9, 2015

A shopper asked: does this vest include any body armor for the back areas? Nov 6, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Theodore W: No, there's nothing extra in the back area, just the same material and thickness as the rest of the vest. Nov 6, 2014
Reply to Theodore Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Marshall M: It does not have any pockets for/or body armor. Nov 7, 2014
