River Road Baron Retro Leather Jacket
Nice Jacket at a Reasonable Price
I was surprised at the quality of this jacket for the price. It is a little bit large in the chest for the right length, and I'm not exactly slim, but that's the only negative I can say about it. Otherwise, it feels durable, and it comes already distressed for a stylish look. With the liner zipped in it keeps you very warm (I rode in 35 degree weather yesterday and felt fine), but with the liner removed and the vents open, it is comfortable to ride even in 80 degree weather as long as you are moving.

Great jacket, it fits a bit large
This jacket fits about one size large.
I am 5'8" 185 and about a 39 inch chest. I usually wear a 40R or smaller in a jacket. When comparing this jacket to the Twin Iron and Race Vented, I ordered a 40 in all of them, figuring I would keep at least one.
First, an odd thing not mentioned anywhere: the "piping" that trims features of this jacket is a hard, but flexible material - think of pipe cleaners. Look at the trim around the pocket flaps; notice the rounding "piping" like trim; it isn't soft like it's just fabric. There's something in there. It will bend if you press it, but it stays how you bend it. It's very odd, but it causes no problems. The same "piping" is on the button flaps on the shoulder, as well as around the hem at the waist.
The look of the jacket is awesome, and the leather feels great and very durable. I imagine the air flow is good with the vents, but I don't know. I only wore it in my apartment and garage, as with the other jackets.
This jacket is way bigger (at the same size 40) than the Race Vented, but slightly smaller than the Twin Iron. It was very relaxed when standing. But when I sat on the bike and reached up for the handlebars, the extra material around my chest kept the shoulders from pulling in, and I ended up with a bunch of material and the seam sort of digging into my upper biceps.
Plus, the sleeve openings are very large. I could pull the sleeves half-way up my forearms. And, yes, that's with them zipped shut; there is no adjustment.
If you are usually on the small end of a size scale, I would recommend ordering one size down. If you usually fit toward the upper end, you'll probably be fine ordering your true size.
Of course, that doesn't help you if, like me, you would then need a 38 which isn't offered by River Road!

Nice jacket, broken snap
The jacket seems to be very good quality and it fit as it said it would on the website. I was disappointed though, as I bought it for a Christmas present and the snap on the wrist was broken. Otherwise, he likes the jacket and says it is very warm.

Great jacket at price point.
Love the styling. The fit is on the large size. Lots of pockets. Doesn't offer a lot of armour protection but I suppose at the price point this is ok with me.
