R&G Racing Rear Axle Sliders Triumph Street Triple / R / Daytona 675 / R

R&G Racing Rear Axle Sliders aid in reducing damage to the swingarm, chain/drive, brake caliper and brake disc in the event of a crash by keeping these core components off the tarmac and out of harm's way!

Each kit is tailored to each bike's specific axle length and/or diameter. The sliders are machined from the same High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) used in R&G's frame sliders. As the HDPE slider wears down in a slide/crash, its high friction qualities help reduce the bike's speed.

Sold as a pair.

Note: Image for reference only. R&G Racing Rear Axle Sliders may vary slightly depending on your bike's make and model.

Make sure you've got em!
Had a low speed low side, scraped up my axle threads a bit but luckily not bad enough to prevent removing/installing the nut. If I had these sliders on, there would be no damage at all. You live and you learn.

Hopefully won't have to test their performance/durability any time soon as one low side was enough..

Great piece for a good price
If you read my review for the front sliders then this will look frighteningly familiar, minus the typos...

Bang for the Buck: Excellent performance and looks easily justify the price of this slider.

Ease of Install: Do you have 2 minutes? If you answered "yes" then you can install this. The hardest part of the install is getting the freaking package open with no scissors or a knife.

Performance: I've seen first hand how the pucks hold up to a slide, and I will say this: They did exactly what they were meant to do. The guy whose bike went down into a low-side was just fine.

Finish: They're not insanely huge or out of place and actually look pretty nice.

Durability: Any protection piece that will take a hit on the road in a crash will get chewed up. Luckily, these don't get eaten up as fast or as much as other sliders that I've seen. I'm fortunate to not have crashed on my bike, but I have seen the after effects on some that weren't as fortunate.

Cool sliders matching fronts
Bought these to match front axel fork sliders. Install probably 3 minutes! Looks good. Feels solid hasn't loosened up applied dot of blue local tite. Fortunately I haven't been able to really test them out!

I purchased these R&G rear axle sliders for my 2013 Dyatona 675, and thankfully I haven't put them to use; however, after low-siding a few months back prior to purchasing these, and without any damage to the swingarm, I wanted to be prepared in the event it happens again.

can these be used as bobbins to lift up the bike as well?
Aaron L on Oct 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have used them as lifting points. Just be sure your lifting stand fits well or the slider spools might get scratched/damaged.
Are individual replacement sliders available if one were to get damaged?
A shopper on Jul 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I've searched all over to see if they do offer a replacement piece for this. Unfortunately, I've come up with nothing short of having to order the full kit again.
