Happy with the purchase
Installed the mediums on my 2012 FZ8 and after receiving them realized I'd have to drill the bar to accommodate for the pin on the controls or grind them off. I opted to drill for the throttle and the kill switch (because it was easy) so keep that in mind with respect to work and tooling required. I then realized that because of the increased width of the renthal bars compared to stock that the brake line from the master cylinder to the splitter in the forks wasn't long enough to allow the brake lever to be where it needed to be so I bought new lines for the front and had to do that as well. Something to consider. Worth the money though.

Quality Bar, Great Product Selection.
This is a good bar. Very good options for sizes. Finish on the black model is what should be expected of aftermarket gear. Installation took a bit as new holes needed to be drilled into this bar to accommodate hand controls. If you drill new holes make sure to have a good drill bit and high power drill as this bar is very thick in tubing diameter.

The serrated left grip helps keep things in place. I went ultra low as I wanted less sweep than what the low offered. Great job to Revzilla on the handlebar details for measurements. Better illustration than Renthal's own site.

The only thing I will say is that this bar did not originally show up when I did a search on Zilla's website under just handlebars or controls. I actually stumbled upon it in one of the side windows while browsing for something else. This should be an easy fix by "tagging" it with other handlebars and parts I would think.

Thanks again team Zilla!

Nice accent
Changed my riding position, bars worked just fine. One thing you need to be aware of inside diameter of aluminium bars is smaller than steel bars 14 mm barends must be used. I understand that you must not drill holes for your switch assemblies. Use a small file or dremel to trim them, use can wrap bars with electric tape if needed.

In the end a GOOD PURCHASE
The bars look awesome, the only bad thing about them was they had no grooves in the middle of the handlebars to catch on the handlebar housing making them loose when fully clamped down. It was a simple fix to just cut some grooves in the bars and they became nice and sturdy after that. Bottom line they look great and the ride is much more comfortable.

Renthal Streetbars - Low
Excellent fit and finish. Installed in well under an hour on my '14 Triumph Scrambler. Check out Delboy's Garage for a great how to video on the install. Completely changes the ride for my motorcycle, and very happy with the results.

Great priced bar.
I test rode another grom with protapers and these are a lot more comfortable for every day riding. A much better looking bar and more ergonomical for going out and bombing through turns then the stockers. A must do for any grom

Bought these for two different bikes
I originally bought these for a 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS. I didn't like the stock bend. I loved these on the Duc. I got a 2004 Suzuki V-Strom 650 to commute on, and the stock steel handlebars felt like spaghetti. I moved the bars from the Duc to the Suzook. I like them even more on the V-Strom.

I am now getting the Duc back into action and got a new pair for that bike. I may add bar risers as well, but the sweep and width are perfect for me, and they are a little narrower than stock which helps with lane splitting.

Being aluminum, they don't vibrate and I haven't felt the need to put bar end weights back on.

Great product, and the usual flawless experience dealing with the good folks at RevZilla.

Flawless finish, tough, looks great!
These are super awesome! The Aluminum damps vibrations better than the OEM steel. I put them on my 2004 Honda 919 and it looks great. The finish is super tough and scratch resistant. The only thing I would like is for there to not be the white printing.

Ultra low street bars
Installed these on my 2014 triumph scrambler, due to the fact that the stock bars were so uncomfortable on my wrists. After installing the new bars, what a difference, comfort, ride, control ability all there. Would recommend highly.

I've used this brand before on another monster and loved the stance it gave. Working on a new project and these should really start things off. It also doesn't hurt that they get good reviews.

Renthal is a known brand for moto handlebars, and I wanted something durable and nice-looking for KZ1000 project bike. The fact that the aluminum will damp vibration better than the steel bars was a positive also.

What other bar-ends fit in the 7/8 road bars besides the Renthal bar-ends?
Mark L on Jul 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: A: Yes. Other brands of bar ends will work. Best to look for barends that state the product will work on 14mm inside diameter or less. There are 14mm barends out there; some very in-expensive. You just have to search....
hi, i have a 2003 Ducati monster 620. Will this fit my bike without any modification?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I didn't want to drill any holes on my handlebars so I filed off the plastic stubs of the switch packs and aplied double sided sponge/plastic tape between the handlebars and the switch pack. Once you tighten them up they're not going anywhere.
Hi, I have a Yamaha FZ07. Can I used for my bike??
A C on Oct 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I've got the same bike. I first bought the highs and they fit but the cable were a little stretched, I bought the lows and they are perfect. I would stick with them or maybe the ultra lows of you want a little more aggressive. You will need to drill the locating holes for the controls.
Is the bar tapered or is it 7/8" OD along the entire length?
Chip on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is 7/8" OD along the entire length. These bars are really great, I installed them on a Yamaha FZ1.
do these bars fit triumph bonneville SE....2014 Mag Wheels...?
Nitin R on Apr 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I bought these for my Yamaha FZ 1 and they work great. I'm sorry I don't know if they will work on your Triumph.
factory grips fit? 2016 fz 07
Shane M on Apr 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If your factory handlebars are 7/8 they should fit. I installed these on my Triumph Scrambler and they are a perfect fit. Great bars and are graduated so you'll know when they're perfectly centered.
I'm really interested in these, and I want to try them on a 1978 CX500 (Standard model) I just got, but I want some opinions on these. I like the ones that are shown in the picture, but I really want to see what the other ones look like, as well. Just in case I like them better. I doubt it, but I am curious as to what my options are. And if not on the CX, I'm planning on getting a CBR600RR soon and I want to convert it into a streetfighter. So, either way, I will most likely end up getting these, or other bars. Which ones are preffered, though?
A shopper on Mar 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Welcome to the wonderful world of handlebar selection.... Renthal provides the various dimensions for each of its 7/8" street handlebar "bends". Technically, there appears to be an unlimited number of variables as to the way any single handlebar will look, feel, or fit. It is good advice to start with a handlebar you "know" and then make comparisons from it to other handlebars you are considering. Generally, the manufacturer fits an appropriate bar to each bike; what is ideal for you is soley at your discretion !!
Will the Woodcraft Bar End Sliders or Driven Racing D-Axis Bar End Weights work for the 7/8" renthals?
Tibor on Sep 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Renthal 7/8" street bars have a 14mm inside diameter; which is smaller than most other 7/8" bars. Bar ends for a handlebar with a 14mm diameter will state that fact; barends for other sizes are likely to exclude the any notation of 14mm or any inside diameter fit.
What size will fit a 2016 Indian scout?
A shopper on Mar 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: by size you mean ??? the bars are 7/8" outside diameter. The dimensions vary with each bar 'bend' offered by Renthal. You will not likely find fitment based on your moto make and model, so U are going to have to determine the existing bar outside diameter. If your scout has a bar with a 1" diameter, the 7/8" bar will not work *unless you use shims with the 7/8" bar.
What are the measurements for ultra low?
Kanghao K on Aug 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It would be best to go to the Renthal *street bike website and for you to see the dimensions for yourself. It can be a bit difficult to find the Renthal *street website in the US, but it is published and it does exist apart from the main Renthal website.
