Remus Hypercone Slip-On Exhaust Triumph Street Triple / R

Feast your eyes on the REMUS HyperCone, an exhaust that offers technical sophistication in combination with an extraordinary new design.

The innovative highlights of the REMUS HyperCone are the carbon outlet cap with a titanium or stainless steel sleeve, the hexagonal design of the outlet cap and the conical silencer body which guarantees maximum ground clearance while cornering.

The experience of REMUS engineers has also applied to the internals of the REMUS HyperCone Exhaust: reduce weight, flow-optimized internal components to control back pressure, state-of-the-art material and removable street and race sound insert. All this in addition to the well known REMUS sound with a performance and torque increase make the REMUS HyperCone the spearhead of the REMUS Sport Exhaust Line.

Includes street and track sound insert.

Note: Please check local laws before purchasing. Some modifications may be prohibited in some states.

Opening the box was the hardest part of the install Seriously they it was in a box that was in a box. It was boxception. However once you have moved past the dual box protection layer the rest of the install was very straightforward, it only uses one of the original two mounting locations which has one 12mm bolt and nut. Finish looks sweet, I got the matte black one with the carbon fiber tip. Price is a little steep for a simple slip on but if you look past that it is a solid product. Sounds good as well, came with 2 baffles, a race baffle and a standard baffle. I am currently running it with no baffle and it is loud but not obnoxiously so. March 6, 2015
Love it. Easy to install, just unbolt the stock one, slip this on, tighten a few bolts and away you go. Sounds awesome. Love it. July 21, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Damon V: I did some research and decided to go with Remus. Two main reasons: the way it looks on the Triumph Street Triple and the tone. Oh, I am confident because I purchase this from Revzilla. Apr 30, 2015
Johnathan P asked: Will this exhaust require a re-map? Mar 1, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Rich Z: I rode around without the remap for one night and I have to say, despite many reviews I've read, here and elsewhere, I could instantly tell there is an absolute difference. The wonderful throttle response and linearity this bike is praised the world over is definitely missing, though perfectly ok to ride as stated above. Light throttle applications and gentle revs will reveal it the most as well as fattening up the midrange. Get the remap from your dealer. It's relatively cheap and makes it correct. You're dropping a fair load of cash for this thing (totally worth it) as it is. I'm sorry I'm a little over opinionated about this but I feel the difference more than enough to warrant the small cash outlay. Hopefully this helps. I guess the short answer is: no, it does not REQUIRE a remap. Mar 16, 2015

William M: I did not remap my bike, works fine. No power band issues, and a wonderful sound. At the time of my purchase there was a tune available from dealers for the arrow slip on exhaust, local dealer could re-flash for about $60 YMMV. If you have a power commander I don't believe there is a tune available specifically for this exhaust. Mar 1, 2015

Alexis K: it is perfectly ridable without an ECU re-map, the only noticeable difference is a little twitchiness in the low-end. That disappeared after I had the re-map done at the next service - tell the dealer to use the Arrow map. Mar 1, 2015

A shopper asked: does it come with the two baffles? the street and the race one? thanks Oct 14, 2014

jeffrey g: No it doesn't unfortunately... Just the exhaust with a baffle already in it. I'm not sure exactly which one it is though... Oct 15, 2014

jeffrey g: Chances are it's just the street baffle. Oct 15, 2014

Michael B asked: Hi, does this product come with the race baffle as well? Sep 1, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Rich Z: No, it now only comes with the street or touring baffle, which is only somewhat louder than stock. But, if the baffle is too quiet and baffleless (probably isn't a word) is too loud or you're going on a long trip, then you can trim the baffle to your liking. To further elaborate you're probably seeing multiple baffles online and in reviews but as of around June 2014 this is no longer included. Hope this helps. Nov 23, 2014

DAN V: Rich,

I'm planning on getting this this slip on for my street triple R 14 and love the sound of race baffle. Can you let me know what are the differences between the street and race baffle? You mentioned "trim the baffle" so can you elaborate on that? Also where can I buy a race baffle if I really like to have one?

Thanks?

Alexis K: Mine came with one baffle - I presume the road-legal baffle - and it is loud enough! Sep 2, 2014

A shopper asked: Does anyone know where we can buy the race baffle for this exhaust? As I believe it does not come with one anymore.

Benjamin F: Mine came with both and I bought it within the last month. Street was inside, race wrapped up. Both say "not for road use " but the "street" is obviously larger. If you have questions you can call Remus USA. Their number is in their website. They're totally helpful and if you do need to buy one they can probably point you in the direction. Mar 16, 2015

Mark H: Dan,

I spoke with Patrick at Remus USA the other day about this. He says the race baffle is the silencer without the road baffle. Use a hex key to loosen the hex screw on the inner lip of the road baffle and shimmy it out. Voila!
