Redverz Atacama / Solo Expedition Tent Sleeping Area Groundsheet

The Sleeping Bay Footprint hooks directly beneath the inner tent/sleeping bay to protect the floor from abrasion and damage in rough terrains. Tent can also be used without the inner tent and just the sleeping bay foot print. Weighs only 6oz.

Redverz always recommends using a footprint, a custom-cut ground cloth designed specifically for the floor plan of your tent. Footprints extend the life of your tent floor, and in the morning they provide a clean surface where you can fold and roll your tent.

The sleeping bay ground cloth and garage ground cloth for the Atacama and Solo Expedition Tents are two different, distinct cloths of different sizes to fit perfectly in each designated area. With "Sleep" imprinted directly on the sleeping bay area foot print there is no confusion as to which ground cloth belongs where. Ground cloths are optional and sold separately.

Note: If only a nonspecific ground cloth is all that is available, tuck any excess material under the tent floor. Any material that extends beyond the tent's perimeter will catch water and collect it

Great accessory
Fits perfectly and the fastening system is much better than other tents I own...extremely easy on and off....not sure whether I will leave it attached when I pack up or not...next camping season will tell the tale....usually pack them separately because may be covered in mud and debris.

Great addition to the Atamaca Tent
I have used the both the groundsheets 3 times now and I am very pleased with how they work. Same great construction as the tent. The garage sheet really saved the inside of the tent from getting muddy, and its great added insurance for a premium tent. They pack up nicely when you leave them attached or fold them up separate inside the tent bag.

I have not had a chance to use this product as of yet, and really don't have any feedback at this time. I am going to be taking on a 15000 mile trip in September and October 2016. Once I have used I will be able to give actual feedback. Thanks

To keep the tent clean and dry after using it if the ground is muddy, wet, and/or dirty.

I've always thrown a tarp down, but a fitted groundsheet is easier, and a good investment when purchasing an expensive tent.

A groundsheet is a must! Tarps are ok, but this sheet is cut-specific and can stay attached to the tent.

This is a good way to protect the tent floor.

To protect my tent investment....I've always used them...great for protection and to keep bottom of tent and tent stuff sack clean...if you are pitching in a muddy area-pack the filthy ground sheet separately in its own sack.

Groundsheets are a must when you camp in the badlands.
Adam M on Aug 20, 2015
we do the high mountain camping thing and the ground can be pretty abrasive this is great protection for a great tent.

A ground sheet is always a good idea for a tent. Not using one is asking for trouble. A tarp can be used in many cases, but I like the benefits of a ground sheet that is custom fit for the tent.
