RAM Mounts Stem Mount Finger Grip Cellphone Kit

The RAM-B-176-UN4 consists of a double socket arm, hardware for mounting to your motorcycle stem, and finger grip cell phone holder. Designed into the mount is a 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system with adjustment points at the both ends of the socket arm; this with a twist of the arm knob, allows you can move the mount to your optimum viewing position. The included finger grip cradle  is designed to hold a large amount of cell phones and electronic devices. The holder comes with 3 sets of four flexible rubber coated fingers placed along sides to grip your device. The fingers open by squeezing the ends to open the small finger arms. The bottom of the holder includes a back plate that adds support to the device being held by the mount. 

This mount is designed to hold the following devices:

  • Cell Phones (check measurements below for dimensions)
  • 2-Way Radios
  • GPS Devices

Height Dimensions:

  • Minimum with Top and Bottom Plates: 5.25"
  • Maximum with Top and Bottom Plates: 6.0"
  • Top and bottom plates can be removed for larger devices

Spine Plate Dimensions:

  • 2.5W x 5.0H"

Using Short Arm Side Clamps:

  • Maximum Depth: 0.75"
  • Minimum Width: 1.25"
  • Maximum Width: 3.0"

Using Medium Arm Side Clamps:

  • Maximum Depth: 1.25"
  • Minimum Width: 1.5"
  • Maximum Width: 3.5"

Using Long Arm Side Clamps:

  • Maximum Depth: 1.6"
  • Minimum Width: 2.25"
  • Maximum Width: 3.5"

The fork stem mount is one of the cleanest ways to mount small electronics on your motorcycle. Simply slide the assembly into the hole of the stem and tighten the machine screw to create a tight fit. This part is designed to fit into the cylindrical bore wall of fork stems and will work with stems that measure from 12 -20mm and 28mm or 0.5” – 1.10” at the following intervals:

St Louis R: I keep an S4 in an Otterbox on mine, no problem. Just test fit the arrangement with the various arms supplied and make sure your power/usb/volume buttons/ other ports are not obstructed when secured. My prior phone lined up exactly with volume-down, and I ended up removing that arm entirely to alleviate the problem!

Although, my next unit will be a galaxy Note, and I'm pretty sure that will be a stretch (literally).

alexander v: Not sure what your application is. On my GSXR 750 I was able to install with out any additional parts or modifications. It is helpful to have a grinder to make an accurate cut on the rubber piece that fits into the stem. I was able to use a razor blade, but did not get a perfect cut. RICHARD A: The ram mount is of good quality fit perfectly the only issue I have is the nut that holds phone bracket to stem mount keeps coming lose but what do u expect at 180 mph. Don't know about iPhone I use Samsung s4 it's never fallen out of holder it has a lot of adjustments for any phone. Feb 11, 2015

Charles John C: The ram mount kit comes with the 3" double socket arm. If you wanted the short 2" double socket arm, you have to buy it separate. You can always call revzilla and speak with customer service. Maybe they can switch it up. Jun 7, 2014
