Great base It took a little bit to get it in and expanded right so it was snug but one in its not going anywhere! June 26, 2015
Amazing product I have tons of people ask me what's holding my phone, and I always tell them about this product. Like other reviewers, it spins forever, but it definitely does not pull out. It's a very secure fit and it holds my Samsung Galaxy S5 extremely well. I can also turn the mount I have sideways to hold my GPS. Once you have the mount, you can swap adapters to make it hold whatever you want held. Great product! June 13, 2015
Does the trick Doesn't ever seem to tighten all the way. Just kinda spins forever but it holds very tight. June 9, 2015
Not secure, can easily spin, or be pulled out. Not risking my phone in it, it wants to spin when my phone is in it.. and I can pull it it with little effort. I fallowed the directions perfectly. Even watched the videos online how to install it. I have built cars. I do all my own maintenance. So I know how do something simple like this, but product just doesnt work, The Rubber just keep expanding never tightening up , until it just pops out because its expanded so much. Maybe its because my bike is brand new so it cant grip . No clue , just wont work. has to be cut to be installed so obviously cant return it now -.-. nice scam May 27, 2015
easy upgrade the product was easy to install and works perfect, highly recomend!! May 25, 2015
I varied from instructions The instructions show you to use a washer at the top of the rubber insert. I left it out and made grooves where it contacts the rubber with the sides of a thin file from HF, in the top aluminum ball mount, similar to the bottom plastic piece. This holds the mount from spinning without having to tighten it down so hard. For larger stem sizes you need the washer to compress the insert but should be able to come up with something similar like cutting a small piece of the insert, place ontop of the washer, and performing the same modifications to the mount. I also cut the insert so it was semi-hard to push down the stem but not impossible to remove. After all of this, It is solid and it hard to move. Don't move it too much without loosening as the grooves that have been cut may chew up the rubber. That or start with less grooves, or smooth it out. I used the smallest piece for my 07 cbr600rr. NOEL C: Hi, I bought this set and, I have used it in my kawasaki ninja zx-6r 2012. In my opinion is a good and strong mount but the installation problem was that I had to cut and scrape the bottom part of the piece that has the ball, because it had interfered with the free movement of the ohlins damper in the handle. I think that the RAM mouts must be tested before for a specific motorcicle. Feb 4, 2015
