easy upgrade the product was easy to install and works perfect, highly recomend!! May 25, 2015
I varied from instructions The instructions show you to use a washer at the top of the rubber insert. I left it out and made grooves where it contacts the rubber with the sides of a thin file from HF, in the top aluminum ball mount, similar to the bottom plastic piece. This holds the mount from spinning without having to tighten it down so hard. For larger stem sizes you need the washer to compress the insert but should be able to come up with something similar like cutting a small piece of the insert, place ontop of the washer, and performing the same modifications to the mount. I also cut the insert so it was semi-hard to push down the stem but not impossible to remove. After all of this, It is solid and it hard to move. Don't move it too much without loosening as the grooves that have been cut may chew up the rubber. That or start with less grooves, or smooth it out. I used the smallest piece for my 07 cbr600rr. Great mount I think I may have installed mine slightly incorrectly, but I followed the instructions, so I thought, and it still spins forever, never quite tightens down. But still works perfectly and is extremely helpful! March 16, 2015
This producr works GREAT for my iPhone5 and my Garmin GPS Although this producr works GREAT for my iPhone5 and my Garmin GPS, I've just ordered an iPhone6 Plus that may be too big for the bracket, but I will simply get the larger bracket if I need it. November 3, 2014
Perfect location or my Garmin I bought this mount to relocate my Garmin from the handlebar to the stem. Very easy installation, although it took many more turns of the wrench than I thought in order to get a tight fit. Overall a clean installation. October 31, 2014
Wrong size plug for the application - but great unit otherwise So I went through the online parts finder to select the right application for my bike - a 2004 Honda VTR1000. The base arrived and the plug was the wrong size - too small for the opening in the stem. I solved the problem by whittling the top cylindrical bit to size with an Xacto knife.... a long and painful process, but effective. Once I'd done that, the base worked as advertised. Be warned - don't trust the online parts guide. Double-check all the measurements. October 6, 2014

NOEL C: Hi, I bought this set and, I have used it in my kawasaki ninja zx-6r 2012. In my opinion is a good and strong mount but the installation problem was that I had to cut and scrape the bottom part of the piece that has the ball, because it had interfered with the free movement of the ohlins damper in the handle. I think that the RAM mouts must be tested before for a specific motorcicle. Feb 4, 2015
