RAM Mounts Aqua Box
Very Snug Fit for Large Smartphones
I purchased this product to house my Note 5 from rain as I travel. It definitely will keep the water out, and seem pretty durable as far as wind and dust is concern. However, the size is not practical for large smart phones. My Note 5 without the Otterbox Defender case fits really snug as far as length goes. It doesn't even fall to the bottom of the Aqua case, so there is space to store small things like cash, small wallet, or cigarettes. I can't fit any cables in to it because the top and bottom end of the phone have no space for anything to be plug into the phone. There's a gap between the face of the case and the phone, so you would have to turn the sensitivity up for the touch screen to access tabs. Using it to store your phone from rain, wind, and dust while you ride, being able to see the screen to know who is calling if you have Bluetooth,I think its definitely worth it. I wish there was a more clearance for the cables to be plugged in, and allow me to keep my Otterbox case on. I uploaded some pics, they are not the best quality since I didn't use my phone to take them. Hopefully this helps show what I am talking about in my review.

Holds an iPhone 6S well
Not much to say about this; it fits my iPhone 6s (in a thin case, not a life proof) and connects to the ram mounts solid. I did take a dremel to it to make a small hole for the charging cable, but I expected as much. The iPhone cables are too long at the adapter end to fit in the case properly, but the way this works out you'd need a really heavy force of water going up the hole to squeeze around the plug. I would do this again if I had to...

sturdy and reliable
Great case, but a little bulky for everyday riding, which is why I switch between this and the X mount, depending on weather conditions. The latch locks, positively know place so there are no worries that the lid will open. My only gripes would be 1) that I'd like to see it packaged with a bit more backing foam, to accommodate slim phones and 2) a larger interior width, so I don't have to remove my otter case from my note 5 in order for it to fit.

keeps stuff dry but I don't like it
Just to be clear I recommend this product only for someone who wants a big clunky box to keep your nuvi dry, maybe on a boat or something. I bought for iphone and it sucks for that. I ran power usb port into my tank bag and use my iphone cord that goes to my lifeproof box held on by the Ram universal X mount. works awesome!

Pure piece of junk. Period. I love RAM mounts, but this box is completely useless. Get a lifeproof and just use the universal RAM mount x grip.

The best, weatherproof solution I found
I had done a lot of research to find a box to hold my Samsung S4 and OtterBox Case. The RAM Mounts Aqua Box was the best solution I found. It has proven to be a great product, but I do run into problems with my phone overheating. The black plastic Aqua Box gets very hot on sunny days. Also, it doesn't come with a port for a power cord, so I drilled a small hole for the USB power cord to connect to the phone.

Sizing is hit or miss
I bought this because I wanted to house my car based garmin nuvi in it. I had searched for awhile before I finally pulled the trigger on getting this box because I wasn't sure about sizing. However, this little box and a RAM mount is considerably less then buying a motorcycle specific GPS, even if it is less elegant. I bought the wide version and the nuvi fits in it great and the wires are able to tuck neatly behind it. I also had considered putting my droid turbo phone in the box, however because the power cord sticks out of the bottom of the phone, there really isn't room in the box for the cord to plug into the phone. The box is also very deep, so you get a lot of room in that respect however it ended up making the box very bulky, which took up a lot of cockpit space on the bike.
Another problem I had with this box is wiring. In order to feed the wires in through the back, you have to make a permanent hole in the box. And the way the RAM mount attaches, you do eventually compromise the watertightness of the box unless you are really careful about making the holes. In theory, if you were riding in a downpour, the side with the hole is facing forward, which will get the brunt of the rain depending on where on your bike this unit is placed. Not super confident of it in the rain. The locking seal itself that you open and close does seem to be pretty good and I wouldn't have a problem with trusting it in the rain.
I did ride with it on an extended trip and because of the weight of the box, I would either have to tighten down the ram arm super tight or it would slowly fall down over time. Also, as some others have pointed out, while the flexible rubber screen is good for touch input, it makes things inside next to impossible to read except at night. Overall, this box is good as a cost effective way to semi-waterproof a piece of electronics however it isn't perfect so expect some troubleshooting along the way.

Solid and simple
After riding in the rain for an hour, getting my hands, feet and pants wet through waterproof clothing, the inside of the AquaBox was totally dry; it works. I could easily use the touch-screen of the GPS but there is no way use the on/off button on the top.
Visibility is good in shadow or overcast condition but difficult in sunshine.
Buy some foam weatherstrip to keep the device centered in the Box.
