Puig Touring Windscreen Yamaha FZ6R 2009-2016
Compared to the stock windshield, this changes airflow little at speeds below 65 MPH. Above 65 MPH there is a considerable improvement, and makes cruising at 70 and above a lot easier. I am 6' 2", so air blast hits me right below the shield of my helmet. I expect that shorter riders would get better wind protection.

Does what it promises and makes my life easier
The wind beating that I was taking everyday on my 50-mile daily commute was getting unbearable (especially after switching from cruiser to sport bike) and I had to start looking for solutions within a week of getting my current motorcycle. That's when I stumbled upon this great windshield. I learnt from my fellow riders on the internet that the stock windshield on my ride actually funnels the wind to the rider's chest area and that's exactly what I was experiencing; at times I was literally feeling that I was being grabbed by my shoulders by two strong guys who were trying to pull me off the bike (and I was only doing about 95). This windshield does not allow any wind to hit my chest (I am 5'9") but it does allow some impact towards the top of my helmet, which is manageable. It feels pretty solid even at triple digit speeds. It might look a little odd to some but I don't really care because it is highly functional. Paired with ear plugs on my daily rides, the fun is back and the pain of wind turbulence and wind noise is minimized.
I would like to add that I appreciate the service I received from Revzilla on my overall purchase experience: I ordered this produce and it arrived decently quick but right after installing I noticed a tiny chip and crack (really really tiny) towards the top of the windshield. I first convinced myself that it should be fine, but given the location of the crack, there was a risk that it might expand soon. So I decided to return it (which I really hated because I could not ride it on the interstate another mile with that torturous stock windshield). Anyhow, I looked up their returns video and did my best to send it back the way they recommended (they paid the return shipping). Then I ordered the same product from them (as only they had the dark smoke shade that I wanted and the price was as low as I could find anywhere online) around 2:30 PM and voila! next morning around 11 I got the message that it is delivered and sitting at my door. I was very pleased with how quick the service was!

Works Great, Easy Install
This is way better than stock for taller riders! The mirrors can be adjusted freely as well. Install was very straight forward. Overall excellent product, perfect fit for my 2014 FZ6r.

Puig Touring Windscreen
never again will i ride a FZ6R without this upgrade. with being 6'3" - 4" this keeps all of the air off of me and it barely hits the top of my helmet. great product!!!

When I received it, it had a few minor scratches on it. Other than that it was in great condition and was easily installed.

Puig Touring Windscreen On A 2013 Yamaha FZ6R
Read all the reviews and online RevZilla vidoes. They indicated that the tour shield works best for 6 foot person. I was looking for a shield to keep wind off my chest at high speeds. Above 70. Im 5.3. Wind hit me right in the face causing alot and unberable wind noice in my helmet. Wanted to send back but return policy indicates that sheild cant be used for a return. Sheild looks great but still have to tuck to eliminate wind hitting helmet. I had to do that with stock shield. Go figure. I drive a 2013 FZ6R. So I sit in an upright position. I thought this would keep me from tucking down in higher speeds. May work on a lower profile bike. Also shield is a bit thin. Speeds under 60 and shield holds it shape but anything above that you will see it start to bend from side to side. Did fix issue with removing wind off my chect though. Also if you live in Texas plan on getting your stuff in 10 days or pay the extra for shipping. Not bad for a instock item and next day shipping.

Brilliant looking screen with much better performace than stock
As a 6'2 rider, the wind is just barely hitting the tops of my shoulders with the PUIG. This is completely forgivable considering with the stock the majority of wind is hitting my chest, which is unbearable on long, high-speed rides.
The design is unmatched for a fz6r touring windscreen, PUIG has really made the perfect blend of fashion and performance.

Perfect upgrade from stock
Even if you don't plan to do any touring, this windscreen looks better than stock and provides nice wind protection into those strong headwind situations. It provides wider base-level hand protection on the bars than stock, something not highly noticeable from the photos.
The install was simple -6 screws. The fit is perfect and the aesthetics are high quality.
Given the cockpit design of the 2009-up fairing, the options are limited to provide the same coverage that the earlier model has (my neighbor has the 2007 version, and the upper front fairing covers the entire width of the bike so a wide shield works, this screen balances function and fashion well.
