Puig Touring Windscreen Kawasaki Versys 650/1000 2015-2016
Much better than the stock screen
Easy to install in less than 10 minutes. Even in the lowest position it allows me to ride with my helmet visor partially open, which is a plus on hot days. Would definitely recommend if you desire more wind protection than the stock screen.

LOT QUIETER RIDE AND LOOKS GOOD
Better than stock in looks, quiet ride now, no turbulence. I am 6'5" and have it in the lowest spot. I bought the dark smoke which looks nice on the bike, pretty hard to see thru if that is the way you are going to have it set up, but I look over mine so no issue. Installation not to hard but its nice to have another set of hands putting it together.

Much nicer than the stock versys windscreen. Blocks a lot more wind, keeping noise down significantly. Slightly tight fit to get the original mounting brackets to fit back into the rails...I suggest having a friend help you align it---but can be done yourself. I got the medium tint, and it gives me plenty of visibility even at night

Great value and fitment
I just received my Puig windscreen from Revzilla (I ordered it only 48 hours ago) and was able to do the install while on a conference call. It was very easy to remove and replace (the toughest part was finding the washer I dropped on the garage floor). The new screen does not in any way interfere with the standard hand guards on the Versys 1000 (2015). There is easily an inch clearance.

Great product with no instructions a little tricky to install
I have not seen this on any Youtube videos but somebody should show this method by example. When re-installing the windshield hardware use Blue Painters tape to hold the hardware (bolts, washers, spacers) in position, it will make the installation easy.

Does not fit
I have a 2015 Versys LT with the hand guards stock from Kawasaki and the windshield does not fit at all unless in the absolute lowest position. Upon raising, I cannot turn the bars without having it hit the windshield fairly hard, which would easily crack it over time or in the cold, and it will very easily scratch the hand guards. I had specifically asked revzilla about this over the phone before I order who said to call Puig directly, and the gentleman had never called back after weeks of calling, and revzilla assured me that the windshield would fit on the second call back. Just canceled my Scorpion exhaust order as I have learned it is probably better to just buy direct because I could have got my money back if I did.
Windshield seems very well built and the light smoke is a perfect color, as you can still see through it to ride but it gives the bike a great look. The stock windshield looks horrible after throwing on this windshield.
Spent over 900 bucks on an order through revzilla for a bunch of gear and they say the windshield is nonreturnable even though they are selling it to fit my exact bike as an 'Exact fit" product. Very disappointing that it does not fit and it was a waste of a good chuck of cash.

I'm 6'3" tall. The stock screen at its lowest setting directed wind at my chin and mouth area. At high setting it directed it into my eyes. Ok for around town riding but not at highway speed. I found myself with a sore neck. In addition to that the wind also blew on my arms a lot. If I wore a tee shirt the wind pushed the sleeves onto my shoulders also allowing air into my shirt itself which is not good at highway speed.
I finally bought the Puig "light smoke" and I'm very glad I did. It is almost 5 inches tall than stock and wider as well. At lowest setting, I can ride around town with my full-face RF-1200 visor up with no wind in my naked eyes. The sleeves of my tee shirts stay down on my arms where they should be.
Two issues with the Puig. I get more wind and vibration sound with it than I did with the stock screen. But, for the comfort it provides I can totally deal with it.
Second thing is you will want another person to assist you with its install. At least on my bike, '15 Versys 1K. That's because you must use one hand behind the screen holding bracket in place while screwing screws with the other hand. Having someone to simply hold the screen for you makes life much easier.
I would not suggest getting the "dark smoke". I say this because in less than ideal riding conditions (ie: cloudy or night time) you will not see the road directly ahead of you. You can see over it of course but I like being able to see the road ten feet in front of me as well. I don't at night at its lowest setting.
As always, service with Revzilla is stellar. They're totally on the ball. This is the only place I come for on line purchases for my bikes.

This windscreen is much better than the stock one.
The Puig windscreen is much taller and wider than the stock. I'm 5-10 and it works well for me. I particularly like it in the lowest position for back road riding. Half way up seems to work well for interstates. I'll save the highest position for bad weather.
