you get what you pay for A lot of vibration pinches brake line and wires when turn all way Non chrome/stainless hardware Delivered in plain box with no padding (no scratches! ) March 23, 2015
Much better than stock It was a toss up between this windscreen and the tall Honda windscreen. I'm glad I went this route. I got the smoke which looks good on the bike. I'm 6'0 with a 32" inseam. This windscreen does a great job moving the airflow over me, or at least mostly. With the stock screen, I was catching the wind in my upper chest and making it uncomfortable on my helmet if the headwind was a little off center. That problem seems to have been resolved. As the weather has not the best for long rides, I am looking forward to an extended test later this year. February 24, 2015
Excellent upgrade for the shorter rider I am 5'10" tall with a 32 inch inseam, just to give you an idea of my dimensions. Given my size this windshield was not sufficient to keep the wind off of the top of my helmet. It would probably work very well for a rider under 5'8" tall. I ended up having to go to a deflector mounted on top of the windshield in order to get more protection from the wind. Given the additional cost of that deflector it made it the Puig windshield somewhat of a poor value. December 15, 2014
I am very happy with my new Windscreen. I just installed this new windscreen in my Honda and I am very happy with it. I was concern about the impact of a bigger windscreen on the motorcycle aesthetic, but it looks great and the performance improved respect to original one November 24, 2014
Easy install. Looks great. Sends the air over my better half's head(5'7'). She loves the extra protection. Well made windshield and five minute install. September 29, 2014
A big improvement over the stock shield I installed this Puig windshield on a new Honda NC700XD, shortly after riding the bike 230 miles home, and realizing that I'd need much more protection from the wind at 70-80 mph. It has served that function well in over 1600 subsequent long distance touring miles. It took about 10 minutes to remove/install, and the holes lined up fine. As of this writing, I expect to leave the Puig shield on for the remainder of the Honda's life with me. Shipping service from Revzilla was quick, the product well packed, and the price was considered fair. August 11, 2014
Great touring windshield Reduces wind impact on my NC700x considerably. Easy installation. Durable. If you are tall you will probably need to purchase the clip on windscreen visor as well or you will end up with wind deflected directly into your visor. August 4, 2014
qulity product install super easy, still testing as to wind. likly will be better then stock short screen. Depending on ones height will determine how the wind hits you. if you are shorter this will be great if you are taller i think it may cause some buffeting , however for the price it will be an upgrade for me over the stock . A shopper asked: Questions and answers all over the map on different bikes. I'm looking for fitment on the Honda NC700x. Tell me about clearance issues, if any, for the front brake master cyclinder with the bars full left. The stock fly screen only allows about an extra 1 1/2 inches or so with my controls set to my posture. It would be nice to know the full width of this touring screen at the cut out. Is this baby really going to fitwithout a lot of fuss? Nov 23, 2014

JAMES S: I have the Puig windscreen on my 2014 NC700XD. The handlebars are stock, in the stock position. I do not have handguards (yet). The cutouts on the windscreen sides are such that they just clear the bars and control. I'm not sure these measurements will help, but the top of the wide section of the Puig (where it starts to cut inward, is 15-1/2" The narrow section just above the cut in is 10-1/4" Both measurements are point to point (not the circumference of the curve) on the back side of the screen.

I don't have a clutch master cylinder - it's a DCT - no clutch handle. The brake reservoir just barely clears the Puig when steering is at the full lock. There is considerable clearance on the right -enough for a clutch cylinder/reservoir.

By my estimate, if you have raised the bars for your rising position, you might have a clearance issue. If you raise them, you should not.

I like the Puig screen. Installation matches up exactly, and took about five minutes. I am 5-10-1/2, and without a big crosswind, it keeps most of my helmet out of the air stream. I -might- add a deflector to the top some day, for long rides. Or not.

Scott S: Fits without much trouble. Does contact master cylinder at full left lock with shield in upper position. Barley touches and does not cause any harm or issues. Nov 25, 2014

Chris B asked: I'm having a hard time finding out how this windscreen works with handguards. It seems to me that they would be banging into each other at less than full turns. Does anyone have any issues with the Puig and handguards? May 23, 2015

Scott S: It's the master cylinders that hit the screen. Hand guards would only be an issue if they extended past the master cylinders. May 23, 2015
