Great alternative to the stock windshield. I am 6'5" tall with a 36 inch inseam. I usually have a difficult time finding a windshield that affords adequate protection. I have been riding with this windshield in the full down position, even this low I get very little wind on my body or helmet and there is no buffeting. Definitely the best one I have owned so far. Several riders in their review wrote that they added a Wunderlich stabilizer to this windshield because it moved around a lot. I have not found this to be the case. Even at highway speeds the windshield is stable, but to each his own. If your a tall guy, or gal, 6' + I do not think you can go wrong with this windshield 2016 R 1200 GS November 23, 2015
Excellent Upgrade for 2015 BMW R1200 GS Adventure WC I am 6'3" and the stock windshield on my 2015 R1200 GS Adventure was a bit too short even raised in the top position. The top of my helmet was catching some major buffeting. Also, I was getting quite a bit of wind on my arms and shoulders. After reviewing a number of the adventure rider forums, the Puig Touring Windscreen seemed to be the windshield of choice. Ordered it on-line from Revzilla at a competitive price and it showed up a couple of days later. Revzilla came through like usual. Installation was reasonably simple but took a bit of tweaking to get everything to line up. The Puig Windshield is approximately 3 inches taller and 1 inch wider on each side. It is shaped very much like the stock windshield and looks great on the bike. Since the windshield is slightly larger, I would recommend buying a screen stabilizer from Wunderlich or Cymarc to keep the windshield from moving around at speed or over rough ground. I installed Cymarc and the Puig is now rock solid on my bike. The performance of the Puig Windshield is phenomenal. It is very quiet behind the Puig in the uppoer position and good airflow for cooling when lowered. Helmet buffeting is gone and much better airflow around my arms and shoulders. Very happy with this purchase from Revzilla. November 16, 2015
Nice winter/bad weather windscreen Works well at directing more wind and other bad weather elements over and around the riders. Looks almost just like the stock BMW R1200 GS Adventure LC windscreen just bigger (mostly taller by about 4 inches). Not sure about the long term durability but so far it is doing fine. I also installed a pair of the Cymarc Adjustable Screen Strengthening Brackets to help keep the screen from bouncing up and down and would recommend using them with this large screen but this does make the install more difficult. I would buy this windscreen again... November 2, 2015
Excellent windscreen for the money Installed on a 2015 R1200GSW. Fit and finish were good. No installation problems. I did buy the Wunderlich reinforcement bar to reduce flex at speed. I'm a big guy @ 6'5" and it's perfect. October 14, 2015
Great Addition I was fairly happy with the stock screen. However, when it comes to OUR bike's comfort, there opinions that matter and then there are mine. Something had to be done... I looked at the winglet things which I read where good at deflecting air but wasn't sure we'd get the same rain protection as from a traditional larger screen. After reading so many positive reviews about this screen, I jumped. And... It's great!!! When I have it adjusted to her liking, I'm in a pocket of nearly still air. I'm 5'9" so I'm viewing the road through the screen. My natural line of sight on a level road is about 4" from the top of the screen. You'd have to be a moderately sized giant to see over this screen. I've read that others had problems with the screen shaking while riding. I only had that issue when it was in its lowest position which didn't appease the queen, anyhow. But for good measure, I've just ordered the Wunderlich screen brace (not sold here, unfortunately). You won't regret it! September 14, 2015
Works Well. Not exactly easy to fit You would think that you take off the original screen and then simply drop the new one in. Really needs some persuasion and effort to get it to fit. Once on it does the job. Seems stable at high speed without any noticeable buffeting. August 24, 2015
Good if you want a taller windscreen After living with the stock windscreen on my 2013 R1200GSW for 2 years, I decided to try to cut down the amount of wind hitting my helmet and causing noise. I am 6'3" and at the lowest position, this windscreen keeps all but the top-most half inch or so of of helmet out of the wind. This windscreen seems to be of very good quality. The price was reasonable, and RevZilla delivered it quickly. I am very happy with this product. I am also using the Wunderlich brace on this windscreen, as I read that the larger screens may flop around a bit more. Have not tried riding without the brace, so I am not sure to what extent it is needed. July 7, 2015
Excellent Product Product arrived quickly, installation was simple after finding youTube video showing how to remove existing windscreen. Performance has been good in terms of getting better wind protection and less noise. At highway speeds, the windscreen does bind and cannot be easily raised or lowered. But once I found the correct height, it works well. June 23, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
William J: Product reviews from riders over six feet tall influenced my purchase. Sep 29, 2015
RICHARD B: I had on on my 2014 GS and it worked surprisingly well. So I bought this one for my 2015 low GS.
You do need the ad on additional left hand after market brace though. I really like it and have it almost all the way down position and it gets the air over the top of my helmet at 6'2"

WES S: need the extra protection from wind when ridding. May 25, 2015
LEROY S: Need a tall windscreen and have tried Cee Bailey a couple of times in the past with serious disappointment. The Revzilla video portrays a solid, well designed and manufactured product. The reviews are mostly very positive, so willing to take a chance. I will provide feedback once I install and put a few hundred miles on it. May 11, 2015

Mark T asked: I just purchased the touring wind screen and installed it. Why isn't the support bracket offered with it? It states bracket is needed for speeds over 140 km that's about 85 mph.

How can I get the support bracket?

Scott S: Good question Mark. I purchased the same screen and although the screen works very well for me (6 ft 2 inch), it does wobble a bit at speeds over km 140 / 85 mph. I was not sucessful in finding the bracket and I have stopped worrying about it. Oct 20, 2015

Richard G: I have a Garmin so I fabricated a support that works perfectly. I love the windshield but I didn't like the instability in the wind. This completely fixed the problem. Oct 21, 2015
