Pleasantly surprised This review is a comparison of the Puig Racing windscreen to both the ZT Double Bubble and ZT Touring windscreens, as I now have owned/ridden with all three. These screens have been tested on a GSX650F (stock and ZT Duoble Bubble) and a GSX1250FA (Stock, ZT Touring and Puig Racing windscreens). Current ride is a GSX 1250FA w/ a RF-1100 or RF 1200 helmet. The factory windscreen allows for air to hit my chest/upper chest level (5'10") and clean air hits the helmet, allowing awesome airflow w/ either of the Shoei helmets. In terms of quality, the Puig winscreen seems more rigid and less flexible than the ZT screens. Both the ZT and Puig windscreens are very well designed and fit the bikes perfectly, without need for any modification. The ZT windscreens moved the air much higher off the rider but created a moderate amount of helmet buffeting that wasn't present when using the stock windscreen. However, the Puig Racing windscreen has a small bubble that moves the airflow above my shoulders and also allows for clean air to hit the helmet, without any perceived buffeting. So, overall, very pleasantly surprised by the Puig racing windscreen. I would recommend the Puig windscreen over the ZT. Both brands are good, but I think Puig has the edge. September 26, 2014
