Puig Racing Windscreen Kawasaki Ninja 650 R

Derived from competition, the race bubble design helps diminish the air effect on a rider's helmet.

  • Made of high impact acrylic, giving each screen added strength and flexibility
  • 3mm thickness helps absorb vibration at high speeds, and offers resistance from cracking or scratching
  • All screens are developed using information from wind tunnel testing

Upgrade Over Stock! I just recently purchased this windscreen and put it on last night (Sep 9, 2015). Rode it to work this morning and immediately noticed the difference in wind displacement. While sitting straight up on my 2015 Ninja 650, the wind is directed towards the middle of my helmet. Slightly leaning forward puts the wind at the top of my helmet. A full tuck puts the wind completely over my entire body, which is much better than stock. With the stock, the wind would still hit the top of my helmet and go right through the air vents, still causing a bit of noise and resistance. I can see very clearly through the windscreen, even with a dark smoke tint, with no distortion. I can imagine this would be much more difficult at night. so a light smoke would probably work for day/night riding. I picked this one over the Zero Gravity because of the reports of the ZG windscreen feeling like 1/4 of the thickness and cheap. This one feels like a much higher quality screen than the stock one itself, and it is pretty large! September 10, 2015
Large but stylish Fits great on my bike. Pushes wind higher than oem windshield. Looks great! I like the dark smoke. Feel like it'll keep my display screen from sun beating down on it so hard. July 27, 2015
No complaints. Excellent quality, perfect fit. Huge improvement over the stock shield. Provides just the right amount of wind protection. July 20, 2015
Very good product. I have been using it for 2 months and noticed that wind protection improves much more from the OEM Kawasaki windshield. My motorcycle still looks very nice because of its design. Thank you. July 13, 2014
Looks fabulous Great looking windshield. I think I like it better than original. April 7, 2014
Just what I needed! First I don't like to say bad things about most products Revzilla sells because all the brands I have bought including many have been well worth the price. But I bought the zero gravity windscreen last month because I wanted clear and as tall as possible to divert as much air over my head for the winter on my 650Ninja. From the moment I opened the package it just looked cheep and was relieved that there was a small scratch directly in the middle. Small enough that if I liked it I could live with it but large enough to send it back and try the Puig. I didn't really want any tint cause I am not a tint kind of guy but I got the light smoke and I must say it is awesome for the money. It is thicker, almost as thick as stock, but optically clear. The edges are rounded and polished like an expensive piece of glass and there are creases that make it very stiff. Unlike the zero gravity unit which was the complete opposite. I was wondering how much it was going to flutter around in the wind. I just put the Puig on and it's 25 degrees in ATL so I have not road tested it but I know it will be as awesome as it looks. Out of the wind style. Un-wrapping my new windscreen on Xmas morning I felt just like a kid again, and fitting it to the bike was just like childs play. It not only gave me the extra height I was looking for ( an extra inch or so in the lowest position compared to the old screen in the highest position.) but also the style in keeping with the sport styling of the ninja. I'm very happy with the purchase and the service from revzilla. December 30, 2013
Great Sport/Touring Windscreen for Ninja 650r Windscreen is great for sport touring. Super easy to install. A couple inches larger than stock it provides much better coverage. Seem to have less rider fatigue on long trip. Love it so far. August 5, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Daryl B: I wanted something a little higher than the stock windscreen. I am 5'11 so I sit a bit tall on the 2014 Kawasaki 650 ABS and ride a lot on highways so this should be perfect. I will update when i get it. Jun 28, 2014
Andrew P: I hated the stock windscreen on the bike. It wasn't tall enough and was tough to tuck behind. This is significantly larger, yet still sleek and gives it that awesome blacked out look. Jun 18, 2014
Gerardo F: Just based on good reviews. Thank you. Apr 9, 2014
A shopper asked: What are the dimensions of the windscreen? How much higher is it than the stock? Aug 27, 2014

james c: Rough guess would be about 4"-5" it's a marked improvment over stock one, and it looks way better. I've never had mine above the lowest position and it provides good coverage and deflection. Sep 18, 2014

DA R: At its widest point it is 18". The height is 20" which is almost 4" higher than the stock windscreen. Windscreen is great! but it did not come with bolts, used the ones from the stock. Sep 19, 2014

scott s: It is 10.5cm longer and the same width. Just slightly differant shape. I have it fitted in the lowest position and it still sits higher then the stock one at its highest position. Sep 19, 2014

Dwayne D: A few inches higher. I bought the double bubble zero gravity after this one and prefer it from a looks perspective. Both do well with wind protection. Sep 18, 2014
