Puig Racing Windscreen Kawasaki Ninja 1000 2011-2014
Looks better than the factory windscreen
I bought this windscreen for my Ninja 1000, I've put about 100 miles on it. I love it, so far so good. Looks so much better than the factory windscreen, a little taller and wider. only thing I regret is getting the dark smoke, I wish I'd went with the blackout tint

Great Windscreen! Highly Recommended.
The Puig windscreen is a little wider and a little taller than stock. The tint and the shape look much better than stock. Finish is excellent and installation is very easy. I bought black mounting bolts as they look much better than the stock silver bolts. In the low and medium position, airflow is smooth. I don't feel like the air is trying to move my shoulders like the stock screen. In the high position, there is a bit of turbulence, but it is better than stock. This was a very good purchase and would recommend it to other owners of the Ninja 1000.

This windscreen installed in under five minutes and looks ten times better than the stock one. It shipped in less time than predicted and works better than advertised. Zero complaints, zero issues, I wish everything I bought from the internet turned out this good.

Puig windscreen in light smoke
I purchased this windscreen a couple of weeks ago to replace the stock one on my 2014 Ninja 1000. Based on previous reviews, it appeared to be the best choice performance-wise and aesthetically for me. I had realistic expectations as to what to expect. Windscreens on sport bikes will never block as much wind as those on cruisers. I am happy to say, though, that it's a very good improvement over stock, plus it just plain looks better - especially in light smoke. Besides my regular around town riding, I've done a 3 hour trip on the freeway and an hour ride in the mountains since I installed it. The most wind is blocked when the screen is in it's highest position - no surprise there. The finish is excellent and it looks so well made that I expect it to be at least as durable as stock. I read some comments about the thickness. I didn't measure it but in a side by side comparison, it may be ever so slightly thicker, but I'd say essentially the same. It's not thin at all. I would recommend it to anyone looking for improved wind management and a greatly improved appearance at a fair price.

Meets my expectations
I have bought the Puig windscreen to replace the stock windscreen on my 2014 Ninja 1000. When I did some research on the web prior to my purchase I wasn't sure if the smoked tint would be dark enough. However, it met my expectations 100%. It looks sharp and aggressive.
It channels the wind slightly higher than the stock windscreen.
I am not sure yet if I am going to purchase a lower screen in the future. I will test this out with my stock screen to see if I am happier with a different type of air flow. I prefer the diverted wind not to hit my helmet in normal riding position because of the increased noise but lower (neck/chest). I am 6' tall. It's kind of tricky with windshields and everyone has to decide for him/herself.

I replace the stock Screen on my 2014 Ninja 1000. Definitely made a difference. It took all of ten minutes maybe less to install. Highly recommended.. As always, Great Job Revzilla

Big improvement over stock
I found the stock windscreen on the Ninja inadequate above 65 mph or so, with a lot of helmet buffeting. The protection offered by the Puig is of course dependent on what position you have it in, but it is better in all three. I keep mine in the middle position most of the time, where it works well up to 70 or so. Above that, I put it all the way up, where it sends most of the air over my helmet. And the dark smoke color looks great with the blue bike as well. Overall, a great improvement at modest cost.
