Puig Pro Frame Sliders BMW S1000RR 2012-2014 Videos

Puig Pro Frame Sliders BMW S1000RR

Puig Pro Frame Sliders feature a massive 130mm x 58mm Nylon puck. Each puck mounts via a billet aluminum bracket which requires no bodywork modification. To keep things clean, an end cap with the "PRO Puig" logo covers the mounting bolt on each puck.

Puig not only designed these frame sliders to protect the motorcycle, but the rider too. All pucks feature a rubber bumper on the back facing pointed end to avoid knee and shin injuries from impact in the event of a crash.

Features:

  • No bodywork modification required
  • Protects engine and frame
  • All sliders include grey rubber bumper
  • Rubber bumpers available in other colors (sold separately)

Great conversation piece lol.
I first saw these frame sliders on HP4 at my local dealer and thought, "wow these are interesting". So I picked a pair up for my 2014 and think they look awesome. I can't speak on how the work in a wreck and hopefully never do. These frame sliders are a great conversation piece because they don't look like your normal frame sliders and people don't know what to think about them haha. I think these are my favorite frame sliders I've ever owned though.

FANTASTIC!!!
So I saw these and thought that they looked a bit funky and not the normal looking frame slider. I was septical about their functionality but had the misfortune of finding out how well they would perform in a low side accident. These things worked very very well. Saved me a lot of money when it came time to repair the bike. Minimal body damage occurred and that which did is now prime property for a small Revzilla sticker.

look like they will do well
i like that these are not post like sticking out from the bike ...seems like these will tend to slide even if it slides from track off into the dirt..instead of catching and maybe flipping the bike...but i hope i never find out

Proof that this does work!
I installed these on my 2012 S1000RR and low sided this evening on a sharp right bend. Should have warmed up my tires due to the cold weather. Either way, my bike slid out on the right side about 15-20ft away from me. I picked up my bike and pulled over to examine the damages. I'm was amazed that the sliders actually worked! Cosmetically the bike had zero scratches, engine/crank was not even touched! My exhaust and rearsets were damaged and the slider took most of the beating. I just ordered the replacement puck/cover and bumper to replace the damaged slider. In the end this item saved my bike from a hefty repair fee. I strongly recommend this slider to anyone who wants protection from the pavement due to a low slide!!!
