Puig Naked New Generation Windscreen Yamaha FZ-09 2014-2015
Great for long trips on the highway
I bought this windscreen for a 2300 mile trip from Boston,MA to Asheville, NC. Most of the riding was on long stretches of highway going 70+ mph.
I can't emphasize how much of a difference this windscreen made. It deflected the wind away from my chest and towards my helmet which dramatically increased my ability to ride long distances, even with an FZ-09 seat.
If you take your bike on the highway a lot or go for longer rides at constant higher speeds than this windscreen will definitely help reduce exhaustion.

Looks good on 2016 FZ-09
It definitely makes a difference on the Highway in the Wyoming Wind and looks good on my 2016 Blue Yamaha FZ-09. This is the Dark Smoke Touring Version of the Windscreen.

Easy to install and works great
Really easy to install with one or two hex wrenches. really makes riding at highway speed much more pleasant .

Sport screen in Smoke
Most of the time we riders don't really NEED a windscreen for the FZ-09. That's because 75% of the time the engine is on it's in a wheelie. But sometimes we have to put the front wheel down and be a little more practical.
For those times I wanted a sporty looking screen that didn't mess up the look of the bike but also cut some of the wind blast down above 70 mph. In my opinion the Puig Sport screen does both. I'm 5'6" so I don't need a big screen to get most of the wind blast off me. At a normal ride position the screen cuts enough wind blast to keep me comfortable, even @ 80mph. (There is definitely room for improvement but that's where the Touring model comes in. If you are taller or just want more coverage go with it.) If I tuck down into a semi-aggressive position I get no wind blast at all. And the look is about right for me, not too tall. I wanted to keep the naked look but wanted something a bit bigger than the OEM Yamaha screen.
Installation was super easy and straight forward. All you need are 2 allen wrenches. (4 and 5mm I think). There is enough ventilation between the screen and the bike to minimize the vacuum effect too.
Fitment I give a 9/10. It looks good and solid but the one small gripe I have is that there is only just enough room to fit a gloved hand behind the instrument cluster to get to the key without rubbing against the screen. Not a big deal really. I think there are a few easy mods you can do to alleviate this.
All in all I'd buy it again and recommend it to a friend.

Helps with windblast
I'm 6' and was having problems with windblast at highway speeds. This paired with a more aerodynamic helmet has helped tremendously... and I'm getting used to and content with how it looks now too.
Also, you can tuck behind it if you feel so inclined.
Screen itself is solid and mounted well.
One of the white plastic washers mounting the windscreen got deformed and pokes out oblongly(probably only noticeable to me). But maybe they could've something better here or made it black. Just me nitpicking though.

Awesome Looking Windshield
I like this windshield so much, I almost feel it should just come with the bike. It fits great, looks great, hugs the instrument cluster very well, and actually does reduce the wind resistance at speed by a noticeable degree.
If I wrecked my bike and got a new one, this would be the first thing I put on it (after a fender eliminator, of course).

Best buy yet
I bought this cause everyone said I needed one, I'm a tall guy and wind highway wind was very harsh. I bought the touring, looks great, helped cut down the wind exponentially.

Looks great on FZ09
Bought this wind screen to break up some of the wind hitting my chest. Does good at that for what it is, a little wind screen. The wind is not so unbearable at high speeds or even lower speeds on windy days. Easy install.
