Gear for air flow when I tuck in to the bike there's little to no air resisters

Looks great but installation requires some modifications
The product is very nice looking and is made quite well. In fact, I was impressed with the sturdiness and overall finish of the windscreen. With that said, I did run into an installation problem that was remedied by a couple of extra washers.

The problem that I encountered was that the windscreen rubs the bottom of the front fairing. I used the supplied standoffs as per the instructions but the clearance between the bottom portion of the windscreen and the fairing was not sufficient. To increase the spacing, I simply installed two small washers as shims which added just enough spacing to avoid clearance issues.

While this issue was not a show stopper, it was certainly not expected nor is it acceptable from a manufacturer that sells it's products at a premium price.

For the price, I just expect things to fit without modifications.

does not fit!
Despite reviews saying that it does not fit the 2010 Kawasaki z 1000, I bought this windscreen anyway thinking the issue might have been fixed or it was a one time production error. I was wrong, the mounting holes don't come anywhere close to where the are supposed to be and for the price your paying for it, it should bolt on with no problems whatsoever.

I was very disappointed with this product

Having said that, the windscreen seems to be very durable and would probably last a good long time, they just need to fix themmounting issues

Why did you choose this?
RevZilla Store
I chose this over the already installed zerogravity on my 2010 z1000 and feel it matched the lines of the bike much more. Wind protection is similar between both, however wind appears to hit me a little higher in the helmet with the Puig. Fitment was perfect.

I purchased this windscreen because it has the same mean lines in the shape that flows with the design of my Kawasaki Z1000

Needed a little more protection from the wind at higher speeds. It's still chilly here in NY
