PSR Magnetic Oil Drain Bolt Honda / Kawasaki
Awesome Oil Plug

Personally in my former career as a machinist I can tell you that this is without a doubt the best quality you'll find. The picture doesn't even show the best part, it has a beautiful safety wire for the track, protected by a clear piece of tubing around the wire to prevent chafing.

Build Quality sucks
Went to install the drain bolt and before I put it in the magnet fell out. Had it fallen out while bolted up it would have caused catastrophic engine failure.
Would not reccomend

I received my magnetic drain bolt right away Rev Zilla is great. Opened the package everything looked perfect. Went to install the bolt and had to set it down, so naturally I placed it on a metal surface so it wouldn't roll away. Pulled the bolt off the metal and the magnet was still on the metal, not in the bolt. Magnet = strong, construction of the bolt seems sub-par and the magnet doesn't stay in, as the bolt is aluminum. Haven't changed the oil since replacing the stock bolt so I can't really go into detail on the performance.

Really weird little box of fun
Everyone should at least once in their life obtain a piece for their ride just like this.
It comes in a very nice box especially for the purchase price! A nice sticker but the foam shaped box contains a blue drain plug on a nice safety wire and rubber wraped tether with a drilled tab on the aft end. A safety pin connects the tether to the plug.
Folks I really need the magnet to work on this please.
Awesome fun and thumbs up on this one!

Samuel G: Because I failed at drilling a hole in my OEM bolt. I've destroyed a whole bunch of drill bits, filled my hands with metal splinters and still don't have a complete hole for safety wire. Revzilla, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!May 19, 2014
Akos S asked:The reviews on this drain plug are mixed. My main concern is the build quality; such as the magnet actually falling out of the bolt itself. The last thing anyone needs is a magnet clunking around their engine. How is the build quality, how is the magnet fixed into the bolt? can you guys comment on this? I don't want to purchase it and then have to throw it out due to the magnet either falling out, or being loose in the bolt.Apr 22, 2015

Personally in my former career as a machinist I can tell you that this is without a doubt the best quality you'll find. Don't be paranoid about the magnet falling out they're usually a press fit and or epoxyed in place. The picture doesn't even show the best part, it has a beautiful safety wire for the track, protected by a clear piece of tubing around the wire to prevent chafing.
Gord G:I have done 3 oil changes myself with the new drain plug and the magnet is still intac. The drain plug works well so far and I have noticed material on the magnet so it seems to be doing its job. Just be careful when loosening as the drain plug is not only lighter but also softer than the stock bolt and rounding the head would be very easy to do. Hope this is helpful. Have a great ride!Apr 22, 2015
