Do you plug this adapter into a cigarette style outlet? The answer is Yes.

I wired in a Radio Shack outlet to my cycle's accessory connections and then drilled a hole in my dash for the outlet. The outlet takes the adapter.

Chris K: While it may look similar, Powerlet sockets are different from the standard cigarette lighter outlet. A Powerlet socket does not back out with vibration and is able to conduct more power both to and from the battery. Dec 29, 2011
